"Please remind me why we had to come here wearing dresses." I complained while catching up to Althea. Her white layered skirt bounced along every sweep of her voluminous red hair as she took cheerful steps down the streets of the Town Central.
Hearing me, she whirled. The bodice of her short-sleeved white dress was overlaid with a black cropped vest, topped with a brooch on the chest that shone a bright teal below the morning sun. "Do you expect us, young teenage girls, to walk these streets in plain tunics, pants and in flats?" She placed a hand on her hip. "This place might not be as lavish as our cities back home but I do not simply allow my presence to drown in any crowd."
