As the wolf and the woman continued to look for me amongst all the people gathered around, my mouse hummed in enjoyment.
'Her fur is really quite soft. Do you think we could get some for a bed?' she asked as she gently pulled some of the furs out so that it fell to the ground.
In her head, she was going to collect it after the fight was over and make a mouse-sized bed.
'If we kill her, we could just take her whole pelt,' I reminded my mouse as the wolf under us continued to jolt from side to side.
'The whole pelt is useless,' sneered my mouse. 'Besides, I don't want any of our mates near it. Just enough to build a bed out of fur, and that is enough.'
'If that is what you want, may I suggest just asking one of the guys if you could brush them and use their fur for our bed?' I suggested, holding back a yawn.
My mouse grunted in agreement. 'That would work better. She does stink.'
