As the doctor hurried off to go do her job, Raphael approached me, gently taking the gun out of my hand.
"You don't need this," he murmured softly, nuzzling the side of my neck as he placed a gentle kiss on the pulse beating rapidly under the skin.
I titled my head to the side, giving him better access as I melted slightly under his touch. "We have you. Nothing is going to happen to you," he continued, his voice hypnotic.
"You did good, Sweetness," purred Dominik as he came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist from behind. "I am so proud to call you my Luna."
My inner mouse completely relaxed under their touches while the human part of me was frantically trying to remember what it was that I was supposed to be doing at the moment.
