Strengthening potion and beach side villa.

Back at the Leaky Cauldron, I sent a letter to Hagrid saying Harry has reached home safely. Once that was done I started to concoct the strengthening potion. Once the setup was done, the only thing to do was wait for it to simmer for 15 days. The practice in the training room provided me with the perfect brewing method for the strengthening potion.

'Hmm, I wonder if Quirrell had any family properties. I will buy some wardstones tomorrow from Gringotts and go to the seaside villa of the Quirrell family'

I went to Gringotts to get a portkey to the villa and several wardstones. Once I reached the seaside villa, the ocean winds assaulted my face. It was cold but did have the ambiance of a reclusive house. The house was in one piece but terribly run down. I sent a letter to Gringotts to commission me some dwarf builders who could restore the place and purchase me a house elf.

Once the dwarves arrived, they started the renovation process. As it went on I met the elf. "Hello, what is your name?" I asked.

"The name is Misky master" the elf said timidly.

"Would you like to become the elf of the Quirrell family?" I asked her.

"Misky would love that" she replied meekly.

I bonded with the elf by placing my hand on her head. Once the bind was established she started to visibly become better. I guess it is true that house-elves live feeding on their master's magic.

"Okay Misky, I will leave for Hogwarts by the end of this month. You will be in charge of keeping the house clean. I may come back by holydays or only at the end of the academic year. You are to eat well and rest well so that you can serve house Quirrell well" I gave the order.

"Yes master, I will do as you say" she replied.

I took the wand and waved making the pillowcase-like clothing she wore to be changed to that of a maid. Black with a white apron and two bowties around her ears. "Make use of your magic to look like this Misky. I do not like the look of an unclean pillowcase. You should also clean yourself daily so that you are a presentable house-elf of the Quirrell family".

Once the renovations were done, we went inside the house. It was truly empty. I gave Misky a pouch with 500 galleons and asked her to purchase whatever required to make the villa a habitable home.

Once Misky came back with the necessary furniture, kitchenware, and ingredients, she made lunch. After lunch, I started the warding process. I showed how it is done and how to activate the defenses in case any intruder comes up to Misky. I also told her to keep an eye on the wardstones on a daily basis. Maybe one day this habit might save my life.

"Was the last part necessary system" I asked.

"Misky" I called

"Master called Misky?" she replied popping up near me.

"Yes, take this key, go to the Leaky cauldron and bring me the stuff in that room. There is a potion that is being brewed. Be careful not to spill it."

"Misky will complete this mission" seems like she is energetic.

Soon the items came back. I also received a reply from Professor McGonagall confirming my request to teach muggle studies. Seems like things are going well. All that is left to do is drink the potion and read the new book on runes given by the system.

'My spells have reached level 3. I should be able to go toe to toe with McGonagall and Snape at this level' I thought.

It was a surprise to me that the blubbering fool Quirrell withdrew from the DADA position. I thought he would want to look at Harry. Well, it does not matter, I have yet another teacher who applied for the post. His qualifications are subpar, just like all the other fools who taught DADA.

My spi..confidants say that they saw Quirrell at the leaky cauldron wearing a turban. Has the wraith already possessed him? Is he hiding it under the turban?

It should be the case. Now once the classes start young Harry should face some tribulations. Facing the dark lord by the end of the year should be enough to rattle the boy. Once that is done yours truly the greatest light wizard will give him solace and life advice chicken soup. The boy should worship me by then.

A burst of laughter rang out in the room. The phoenix perched on the brass rod looked irritated at the old man's antics.

"Master I have been offered the DADA position in Hogwarts" he said as a raspy asthmatic voice replied "You have done well, keep doing it and you will be the first one I reward once I come back to power. I have not forgotten your failure of stealing the stone from the bank. Do not fail me again"

"I will not master" he replied.
