1 As Quirrell in HP world.

Waking up I felt a headache. Not the kind that assaults your brain but a physical one when you bang your head badly. It seems like I was sleeping with my forehead on the table in front of me.

'What where the hell am I?'

I being Leo. I am your school teacher. My guilty pleasures are reading and watching movies and preparing for my classes. I love teaching kids.

'I was in my room reading the last Harry Potter book late at night. I slept midway I guess and woke up in some kind of office which does not make any sense.'

I stood up and looked at the parchments scattered all over the table. The headings read 'What is the use of a muggle fan.'

'Muggle, oh my god where am I. Is this some sort of elaborate prank?'

Well, it was not. As I walked to the room that seemed to be the restroom and looked at myself in the mirror, what looked back at me was not my own face, but a bald face with sharp features.

'Fuck me and my life. I am Quirrell one of the most scaredy-cat characters in Harry Potter books.' Luckily I don't have old Voldy on the back of my head yet.

I paced around the room when a sudden assault of memories filled my brain and this time the pain was in the brain. I knelt and held my head for a while before it became bearable. As I sifted through the memories finding what to do, I held a breath of relief. The date was July 1st, 1990. The parchments in front of him were the final papers for Muggle studies that he graded. He had applied for a sabbatical and would be leaving today from the Hogwarts castle.

He looked through the memories of him applying for a sabbatical from Dumbledore.

[Previous Quirrell memory]

"Iced mint," Quirrell said in front of the gargoyle leading to the headmaster's office.

Once the previous Quirrell entered the office he walked over the Phoenix perched on the bronze bar. It gave him a cursory look and went back to closing his eyes. The headmaster was not in his office. Quirrell walked over to the table and found a parchment lying which the headmaster has clearly been reading. He looked over to read it.

'A wraith was spotted in the forests of Albania. The description matches the one you wanted me to keep an eye on. Is the wraith related to the one who died in 1981?

Awaiting reply Moody'

'Died in 1981. Is it the dark lord? None of the death eaters have this information. I could go to him and learn from him. If I could get his recognition no one will ever look down on me. Hehe, I know what to do for this sabbatical. The fool Dumbledore will not know what hit him.'

"Ahem, Professor Quirrell. Were you waiting for long?" Dumbledore asked, his eyes twinkling.

"No headmaster, I just arrived." Quirrell lied.

"Regarding your sabbatical. It has been approved by the governors. The years have not been kind to you Quirinus my boy. Take a good rest, recharge, and come back."

"Thank you, headmaster. I intend to travel a bit and calm my nerves. The previous years have not been good with pranking students disturbing my research. I hope to come back anew." Quirrell replied.

"Ah, the shenanigans of youth Quirinus. Unlike you who was a calm student, many among this generation seem to be a bit overzealous. I hope you forgive them, my boy."

"Of course professor. I will take my leave if that is all." quipped Quirrel.

As Quirrell stepped out of the headmaster's office he failed to see the glimmer in Dumbledore's eyes and the faint smile that hung on his lips.

[Leo POV]

'It seems like the previous owner of this body was played like a fiddle by the headmaster. He knew Quirrell was a silent sympathizer of the dark lord and his ideals. The headmaster should have placed the parchment for Quirrell to find. He may also have confounded Quirrell to take a sabbatical. It seems like the Dumbledore of this reality is either a manipulating dark lord or the previous Quirrell was just a chess piece in his plot for the greater good. Well, whatever it is I am not playing to his tunes.'

I have an hour to leave Hogwarts. Let me pack first. I am not intending to stay a minute more than an hour. Once I packed the necessary clothes in the trunk that had a silver QQ on its top, I relaxed and looked at the wand. It was greenish-brown, pointed with a bead-like wooden appendage at the handle. It was comfortable to wield. I felt a connection with the wand albeit weak. Memories of Quirrell showed most of his spell repertoire and there were many dark ones as well. I simply chose the easiest one.

"Lumos." a small light shone at the end of the wand. Needless to say, I was excited. It was magic after all.

[Ultimate wizard system initializing. 10%...30%...50%...75%...100%.] the sound resonated in Leo's mind. 'Holy shit is this for real.'

[Yes host this is indeed real. You have been selected for being the ultimate wizard. The system will help you in becoming the best version of yourself.]

"The best version of myself. It seems like a motivational class gig. Those are practically useless."

[The system is not a useless host. To be the ultimate wizard, first, you have to be the best version of yourself.]

"Ok. You don't have to be angry about it. I was just putting my opinion."

[First mission. Get out of the castle and obtain a wand suitable for you. The wand chooses the wizard. After you possessed the body, the wand of the previous owner became incompatible with you. This is not your best version wand.]

"Well, I thought something was off. I better go then."

Once Leo shrunk the trunk and kept it within his robe, he walked out of the castle. Not looking back fearing that Old Dumbles may see him and might find something suspicious.

He went directly to the thestral carriages and head towards Hogsmeade village. Not once did he look back at the castle. Once out at Hogsmeade, he made his way to Hogshead tavern. Compared to Three broomsticks, the other inn in the village, this was remote with fewer people. He directly went to the floo and said clearly "Ministry of Magic". In a flame of green Leo vanished with a sigh of relief escaping from his mouth.
