Chapter 12: Did my luck with girls increased after reincarnated?

Two people and a puppy stepped out from the purple portal in front of Shizuka's house.

"We have arrived, Alice-chan, Zeke," Misogi told Alice and her puppy, who looked around in awe as her hands held Misogi's sleeves. Zeke also looked around and sniffed the air a few times.

"Wow! We really teleported! We are in a different place than inside the grocery store!" Alice said excitedly, "Are you a Psychic, Misogi onii-chan?!"

Misogi chuckled hearing Alice's lively question, "You got that right, Alice-chan! Onii-chan is the strongest Psychic in this universe!" He bragged while patting Alice's head. As the only psychic in this world, of course Misogi is the strongest since there's no other psychic in the 'Highschool of the Dead' world except him.

Alice's eyes were sparkling when looking at Misogi's figure.

Satisfied after patting the loli's head, Misogi was about to enter the house before someone appeared from the right courtyard.

"Huh? Misogi? Are you going out?"

Turning his head to the person who called him, which is Rimuru, Misogi answered, "Just arrived from the grocery store actually. I was asked to get many food ingredients for cooking for nearly thirty hungry people inside the house."

"Oh? Who's cooking?" Rimuru asked with a glint in his eyes.

"Akeno, Saeko and Kurumi." Answered Misogi easily.

Rimuru widened his eyes, "Kurumi-san can cook?"

"Well, probably. I forgot whether she can cook or not since I read Date A Live light novel a long time ago. But she said that she's decent at it, and if she turned out can't but still cooking and the dish turned weird, I'll still eat it nonetheless," Misogi told Rimuru calmly.

"Somehow I suddenly remembered the first time when I ate Shion's cooking." Rimuru's body trembled when he remembered the incident of 'that time I ate Shion's cooking'.

"Hey, our job as a guy who has girlfriends is to keep our girls happy by any means! even though their cooking is bad and harmful to our bodies, we still have to eat it so they won't be sad! If you somehow passed out, you must keep moving your hand to put it to your mouth with your willpower even if the price is your life! Remember this, Rimuru. 'A guy isn't allowed to make their loved ones sad and must prevent her from shedding tears. If you failed to do that, you're just not fit to be a man!'" Misogi sounds like a wise man when he says those words. That if he didn't make a thumbs up and a sparkling smile like a certain taijutsu master shinobi when saying it.

Rimuru was moved when he heard Misogi's words as if he had enlightenment from god. With tears on his face, he dropped down to his knees.

"Uuuu... What a wise words..." Rimuru murmured with tears stained face, "Misogi, you're a man amongst men."

Confused by what just happened right now and didn't understand what they're just talking about, Alice leaves Misogi's side and goes to Rimuru and pats his head.

"Are you okay? Did you hurt? Please don't cry, Alice had something to ease your pain." Alice then put her hand in her pocket and pulled out a band-aid.

"Uuuu... I'm okay. I was just moved by Misogi's words" Rimuru answered while wiping the tears on his face.

"Huh?" As if realizing something, Rimuru looked up, "Who are you, little lady?"

"I'm Alice Maresato and this is Zeke!" Alice introduces herself while picking up the little puppy in her arms.

Standing up, Rimuru also introduced himself with a cheerful tone, "Hello Alice and Zeke, my name is Rimuru Tempest! Nice to meet you!"

"Um! Nice to meet you too, Rimuru onee-chan!" Alice greeted back, mistaking Rimuru for a girl.

Rimuru's face twitched when Alice called him 'onee-chan' and Misogi stifled a laugh at that.

"... Alice-chan, I'm a boy," Rimuru told Alice with a stiff smile.

Alice widened her eyes in shock, "Eh?! You're not onee-chan but onii-chan?! But you're more prettier than women models on TV!"

While Alice was admiring his 'Beautiful face', Rimuru himself was depressed. He felt like he is a trap character. It's not that he wasn't glad to have a human form. But since it was a female body and it was Shizue's body that he absorbed, his face also looked beautiful (one of the prettiest ones in his opinion if he was being asked) similar to hers. Fortunately for him, he got his male genitalia back after buying one in MCG's system store.

Still stifling his laugh, Misogi approached them, "While I find this is an amusing situation, we should go back inside. I need to give the ingredients to Akeno and the others so they can start to cook."

With a pat on her head again, Alice nodded at Misogi and grasped his sleeve again then went inside Shizuks's house, followed by a depressed Rimuru.

~~~In the Kitchen~~~

"Here's the ingredients, I hope it is still edible and didn't past the expiration date." Said Misogi as he brought out many ingredients from his inventory.

Akeno, Kurumi, and Saeko (who's changed back to her uniform outfits instead of a naked apron) started to check the ingredients that Misogi had taken from the grocery store.

After a while checking it, the three of them had a troubled look.

Noticing the three of them went silent, Misogi asked, "What's wrong you three?"

"No, it's just..." Saeko began but trailed off.

"It's just that many of these ingredients are almost rotten and some can no longer be cooked or eaten. It's inedible." Akeno explained.

"And the remaining that still edible are, Bread, ham, turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, mustard, pickles, and bacon," Kurumi added.

"If we're going make foods from these ingredients, it's sandwiches," Akeno told them

"True." Saeko nodded at Akeno's words.

"Sandwich huh." Misogi didn't mind eating it, "With this many ingredients, how many sandwiches can you three make?" he asked them.

The three girls looked at each other.

"Around sixty and a bit more I believe," Akeno answered while putting her index finger to her chin in a thinking pose.

"I see, take your time to make it then," Misogi said to the three girls.

"""Yes."""

"I'm going to check the other people in the living room. See you three later!"

Misogi walked out of the kitchen and went to the living room. On the way there, he meets with Shizuka who was taking Alice to get showered before.

"Misogi onii-chan! I have taken a shower!" Alice shouted and ran then glomped to his arm while Shizuka walked following her.

"Mou~, Alice-chan, please don't run in the corridor!" Shizuka chided the seven-year-old girl.

Ignoring Shizuka, Alice keeps clinging to Misogi's arm, "Hey Misogi onii-chan, can Alice's chest grow big like Shizuka onee-chan's breast in the future?"

At Alice's question, Misogi and Shizuka's expressions froze. The latter then went red on her face and covered her chest while the former was having difficulty not staring at Shizuka's assets. Both of them didn't know how to answer Alice's question.

Shizuka noticed that Misogi was having difficulty stealing a glance to look at her. Especially on her breast

"Misogi-kun, ecchi..." Shizuka said to Misogi with an embarrassed look and soft tone. But inside she was happy that Misogi looking at her breast, 'Misogi-kun are interested in my breast! Then I have a chance to join his harem!'

Right now, Shizuka looks like a schoolgirl being stared at by her crush.

Misogi on the other hand.

When Misogi's thinking went overdrive, he unconsciously stared intensely at Shizuka's breast while his thoughts were elsewhere, Making Shizuka who felt embarrassed and happy that her chest was being stared at by the teenage boy she took a liking to, have conflicting feelings.

While Misogi was speechless, Shizuka l started undressing her top albeit very embarrassed.

Shizuka's action took Misogi completely by surprise when she started to open her top clothes. Her cleavage and purple bra she's wearing are shown in his field of vision.

When Shizuka was about to take off her purple bra, Misogi regained his composure from his surprised state, "Shizuka! Wait! What are you doing?!"

Shizuka stopped what she was doing and looked at Misogi's face with a puzzled expression, "What's wrong Misogi-kun?"

"Why are you suddenly taking off your clothes and bra?!"

"Hm? Didn't you want to see my breasts?"

"That's... While it's true that I want to see it, you should treasure your body more."

"Don't worry, I will take care my body better!" Shizuka said it while pumping her fist making her breast jiggle.

"*Gulp*" Misogi swallowed his saliva when seeing it, "W-what I mean is you should show your body to the person you like and want to spend the rest of your life with." He tried to reason with her.

"Then it's not a problem! I like Misogi-kun and want to spend the rest of my life with you after all!" Shizuka confessed cheerfully.

"Oh, it's good the- wait, what did you say?"

"I like you and want to spend my entire life with you!" Shizuka repeat her confession.

Shizuka's unexpected confession are making Misogi speechless. He didn't think that his previous thought that Shizuka liked him are true!

"Eh?! How?! Since When?!"

"Well, since the first time I meet you." Answered Shizuka honestly, "At first when I see you, My heart suddenly start beating very fast, I feel very euphoric from increases in dopamine and norepinephrine when you near me. I also develop a connection oxytocin levels increase as it leads to attachment when we're talked." She explained scientifically.

"Huh?" Misogi may don't know much about what Shizuka had said, but what he understand is, "Wait, isn't that already in the stage of falling in love!?"

Misogi saw Shizuka nod her head in confirmation.

"... We've just met yesterday, right? And our interactions are also not much besides the chat we have on our way from school toward here."

"I also don't know, but when the first I saw you, I felt longing and and warm inside my heart. There also feeling of my heart is complete when you're at my side and would crumble if you're gone." Shizuka said what she's have been felt while touching her chest in the area where her heart is, "At first I don't know why I felt like that when you were around me. Hearing Shizuka's pure declaration of love for him, Misogi fell silent.

Shizuka nervously waited for his answer. As it felt like forever for her, Misogi opened his mouth.

"... I don't know what to say..." Misogi said, "Honestly, a part of me are feeling happy that you confessed to me. But there's also part of me which I felt... a bit hestitate to accept your feeling since I already have three girlfriends. I know that they didn't mind if I have more lovers, but what make me hesitate is, I'm from different world, you know that right?" Seeing Shizuka nod, he continue, "And you can't travel to my world. Different from Akeno and Kurumi who can. Even if I accept you, I only can come to your world not very often since I have duty in my world after our purpose in this world are over. With that said, did you still want to have relationship with me?"

Shizuka fell silent after hearing Misogi's explanations.

Thinking that her silence was she'd give up on him, Misogi was about to say something before Shizuka gave her answer.

"I don't mind."

"Eh? You didn't mind that?" Misogi didn't expect her to still pursue a long distance relationship with him, "I only can to visit you not often you know? And you didn't have a way to communicate with me."

"I know that." Said Shizuka as she walked toward Misogi and hold Misogi's hand with both her hands, "While I will be lonely when you're not beside me very often, my feeling toward you are so strong. It's okay if we didn't see each other very often as long that you can visit me in this world in your free time. I can wait."

Shizuka resolution for wanting to be his girlfriend are strong and that making Misogi hesitation for forming a relationship with her is disappearing slowly.

"I see..." Misogi closed his eyes for a moment. When he open it, there's a warm look on it, and before giving Shizuka his answer, Misogi kissed her lips, making Shizuka widened her eyes in surprise.

The kiss lasted for a few second before they broke off.

Shizuka, still in state of surprise, touching her lips that has been kissed by Misogi, she then looked at Misogi who giving her a warm look and gentle smile, "Then, that's mean..." She trailed off her sentence.

"Yes. I wholeheartedly accept your feelings." Misogi gave Shizuka his answer with a warm smile, "You're now one of my lovers, Shizuka."

"Yay!" Smiling happily, Shizuka immediately hugs Misogi, which he hugs her back. Then for the second time, they kissed again, this time both of them are savored it. Making their kiss a bit longer than the first.

All is well until...

"Ewww! Gross!"

A kid's nauseated voice yelled out. Making both Misogi and Shizuka jump in surprise and breaking their connected lips.

Looking around, they found a seven years old girl put on a disgusted expression on her face.

'We forgot that Alice also with us!' Both of them immediately remembered that she was standing beside Misogi.

"Ugh, why adults always do that?" Alice who's forgotten by the two, was listening to their entire conversation, while she didn't understand the content, her face are scrunched up when she saw Misogi and Shizuka kissing each other. "Papa and Mama also doing it when Papa is about to leave for work. Yuck!"

Smiling sheepishly at Alice, Misogi pat her head similar to giving a cat a petting, Making Alice have a blissful expression.

"You'll understand when you grow up in the future and meet the person you love, Alice." Shizuka told the seven years old girl with gentle smile while also joining Misogi to pat her head.

Alice just tilt her head to the side, her expression were between confusion and disgust, "Ewww... I also should kiss someone in the future?"

Hearing Alice answer, Misogi and Shizuka have a dry smile at her reaction.

"Well, You will understand it in the future." Said Shizuka to Alice with Misogi nodded then turn his head toward Shizuka.

"...Shizuka, can you put your clothes back on? I... Got another boner when seeing you half topless like this even after I already doing it with Akeno and Kurumi laat night..." Misogi said to Shizuka while he staring straight at her breast. Now that they're a couple, Misogi didn't hold himself back in situation like this.

"Ah!" Shizuka just remembered that he initially wanted to show her breast to Misogi. And since they're officials as a couple now, she want to continue it. But since Alice are with them, Shizuka hold her urge to calm down.

Puting back her clothes and wearing it properly, Shizuka are looking at Misogi with a smile, "Misogi-kun, you can go ahead and do whatever you wanted, I will talk with Himejima-san and Tokisaki-san about me being one of your newest lovers."

"Are you sure? I can go with you if you want you know?" Misogi are hestitated leaving Shizuka alone to talk with Akeno and Kurumi. But she shook her head.

"Mmm. It's okay, it'll be alright. My intuition as a woman said so!"

"If you sure then, okay. I'm pretty sure they will be happy that they get more 'ammunition' to used against me for 'night activities'".

Shizuka blushed a bit when he heard Misogi phrasing, "Actually... I also want to know how doing that night activity feels since I've been always single until now. So I want to ask them for tips if I do it with you in the future..." Her face went red when she admit she never have any relationship with opposite sex in her twenty seven years of life.

"Errr... Alright... Feel free to ask them then." Misogi can't say other sentences other than that since if he heard his girlfriends talking about segs with him while he was there, Misogi pretty much sure that his reasoning would gone and would 'attack' them right there in the kitchen.

Then Misogi remembered something, "There's also Saeko in the kitchen, so please hold yourself a bit if you want to know about Kurumi and Akeno having segs with me!"

"Okay! I'll go now! See you later Misogi-kun!" Shizuka leaves Misogi and Alice while waving her hand.

Seeing her gone, Alice tugged Misogi's sleeves few time to get his attention.

Misogi looking at Alice confused expression, "What's wrong Alice?"

"Misogi onii-chan, what is segs?" Alice asked him.

Hearing Alice's innocent tone when asking about segs, Misogi didn't panic like any other virgin anime and manga protagonists. Instead he smiles at her and pat her head, "It's too early for you to learn about it, Alice, so you must wait until you grow up in the future. It's just adult things."

Since she still seven years old, Alice didn't know what Misogi's means in his answer, so her young mind still full of unicorns and shiny rainbows. She nodded and didn't ask further about it.

Seeing Alice didn't ask anything else, Misogi are pondering something.

"Did my luck with girls are increased? It's still haven't a month yet after I remembered my past life and I already have four girlfriends and lovers. Will it increased in the future?" Misogi mused but then smiled happily, "Oh well, let's just enjoy it right now."

"Hey Alice, lets search a certain red lancer and bother him by asking him to tell his adventure in the axel town with a goddess!"

Alice then happily nod her head while smilling brightly at Misogi, "Really, Misogi onii-chan?!" Seeing him nod with a smile to her, Alice happily pull Misogi's hand, "Yaaay! Adventure stories with a goddess! Then let's go to him!"

With seven years old girl pulling his arm to search for red 'lancer', Misogi couldn't help but have amused smile at her enthusiasm.
