Jacob's POV
One hundred metres, give or take, that's how much distance was left when I realised exactly what I was intending to do. My limit was well beyond my reach, but this might have just been the time to see if I was going to hit it. Surrounding the mountain were people that were still trying to evacuate. Dragons helped to take them away, but they were fast enough. Elves and trolls that lived on the outskirts of the mountain fumbled to get their luggage to move faster…
Whatever valuables led them to prioritise them over their lives was beyond me. I closed my eyes and let myself feel the radius of the earth I was to move once I hit the ground. 'Everyone has to be moved to safety in this one spell,' I told myself. I couldn't tell if the dragons had moved away, but my hopes were that they would move once they realise the kind of radius I was asking for.
