Do or Die

After the voice went silent, everyone stood there dazed. It was as if someone has clicked the pause button of everyone. Only the sound of the wind was audible amongst the silence.

"Mic testing 1, 2, 3" after the majestic voice disappeared, a sissy voice came. The voice because of the silence sounded very loud and it brought everyone back to reality.

*Baam!!* After coming back to reality everyone went crazy. People were screaming, running and some were even trying to call their friends and family. Amongst them, Mal who was standing in the corner of the street was looking up towards the source of the voice he just heard. After he heard the black eye talking about the representative, he thought that the being would look like a monster, but to his surprise, the silhouette in the sky was looking like a normal human.

As Mal was trying to put the pieces together, the man in the sky started speaking.

"Listen you fucking dimwits, I don't have much time to waste on animals like you!" The voice still sounded a bit sissy but this time it carried soul-shaking power, not as strong as the big eye but strong enough to freeze everyone on spot.

"Fuck, just because of that stupid game these animals made, I now am stuck here with these pieces of trash." Everyone scrunched their eyebrows after hearing the foul words the man was saying. "Whom are you calling piece of trash?!!" this was what was in everyone's mind but no one had the guts strong enough to voice their opinion.

Just as he finished speaking, a light beam came from the sky. The light looked like it was trying to blast a hole from one point of the earth to another. Unable to process what was going on, everyone started murmuring amongst themselves. "Stop talking you animals!" another voice came from the man in the sky. "Now listen carefully to what I am going to tell you, as this would be the last time you will hear this," he said as he moved his hand forward and suddenly the sky turned black and some weird objects started to form in the sky, they were shiny and were moving independently.

"This is the whole Abbysal Universe that you are seeing," he said as he pointed towards the star-like objects in the sky. "Each of these stars you are seeing is a different racial planetary system just like our X planetary system which mostly comprises of humans. There are trillions of such system in the whole Abbysal Universe which are ruled by the 26 prominent races of the universe and out of these trillions of systems, our human 'Planetary Cluster System' comes in the dead last if we compare the number of planets we rule and also the power (Auth:- I will call Human Planetary system as System X). Planet 'Earth' which you people call 'Home Planet' was mature enough to enter the planetary system, but because of some unforeseen events in the past it got cut of from the monitoring of the mother planet of Humans therefore you and your planet kept growing the way you wanted it to. Full of pollution, less wildlife than other planets, and a very high number of citizens in comparison to your planet size, therefore the upper echelons of System X decided to cut down the population to 50% so that things can work out better after the 'INVASION' of the Mother Eye."

"These things can be a bit too much for your little brains to handle, hence I am cutting this short. To reduce your planet's population and also introduce Mana to your planet we made a special kind of poison or what you people called virus X, and I must say your animals fared better than we expected you to. 60% of you are still left 10% more than what we predicted, and one last thing before I go, we will be giving you 2 years to adjust to the new things you guys will face and after 2 years there would be a selection of warriors. The transformation and the different elements you may have awakened to will be your weapon and with you humans, other living beings will also evolve, including vegetation and even bacterias."

"The 'Selection of Warriors' can be a ticket for the strong to live with prosperity and for the weak.....Heh, it would be a fate worse than hell."

"See you animals around after 2 years ha ha ha ha ha....." Finishing his last sentences the man vanished as if he was never there.

Mal and even the other people around the world were bubbling with anger and hate. "Because of this stupid system I lost my everything..." Mal bit his lips so hard that blood started coming out of his lips. "These fucking..."

Silence again fell upon the world, but this time with silence despair came along. Mal staggered as leaned against a wall. "Mom, Dad you guys were lucky to leave before all of this happened...." *Sigh* "No use thinking about the past now." Mal thought. He was scared and angry but, inside somewhere he was a little excited to use powers like the other people. He stood up patted his clothes to remove the dust and started moving forward step by step. He saw the situation of the people on the main road, some were just sitting on the ground, some were making weird poses maybe trying to awaken their power once again. (Auth:- Pfft chunnis)

Mal shook his head at the sight and started moving towards the supermarket that was just around the corner as he wanted to stock as much long-lasting food as he can. He looked up in the sky to see how much time was left until the night falls, and he saw a figure in the sky similar to what the sissy voice man had before.

Mal stopped walking and ran back towards the street. After finding himself in the same spot as before, he stopped and sat down waiting for the man up in the sky to say or do something, and Mal was right, as the man in the sky was there to say something.

"Ahm...Ahem" this time it was a timid yet powerful sounding voice, "This is someone else," Mal thought as he moved his attention towards the speaker of the voice.

"Greetings Earthlings...You may be wondering why am I here, as the guy before told you that we will see you after 2 years of you adjusting to your powers. The thing is, in a hurry he forgot to mention some important things to you all." He paused for a moment and continued, "The light pillar that you saw was an activating rune for the inspection device that was implanted inside you when you were asleep for 5 years. Do not worry as it is completely safe and has no side effects. You can simply use it by saying 'Status Open' to open the interface, every person has a different design to their interface. It will provide you with every information about you and also you will have access to the Abyssal market... never mind that is too early for you to know."

"This has been made in accordance with the games you play on earth so that it can be easy for you earthlings to understand. The other thing is that there can be some abnormalities amongst you who can awaken 2 kinds of powers or even 3, if such a thing happens then we would be informed and the person would be taken straight to the higher worlds. This would mean the person would be transformed into a dragon from a bunch of ugly ducklings. And yes, there can be some who does not awaken any power at all." he paused for a second and continued "Their fate would be worse than that of slaves as they would be the scum of society who are just waiting to die, they would be sent to planet X3 to work as labors which is worse than hell. So please work hard so that you can have a better future."

"Well that's all I wanted to say, see you earthlings, after 2 years," he said as he disappeared into the portal.

"Well, I guess it's either do or die."
