What Now?

After relating all that had happened to Thebe, her family, Timaeus and Atreus, Art found himself wondering what to do now. Sitting within Thebe's abode, Niall by his side and the Athenian Girl before him, the Young Gael tried to think. He had sworn he would kill Argus should he try to harm or force himself upon Thebe, so no doubt Argus would seek to kill him once more, but what was he to do? Just wait for Argus to come once more?

Walking over to the two young people, Atreus said: "I have an idea. Rather than you just staying here in Tiryns, you may go to my brother Pittheus who rules in Troezen."

Immediately, Pandion said to the Kinsman of the King: "That won't work. Troezen is an Argive city and so your brother Pittheus is subordinate to Eurystheus. If Art stays here, he risks getting killed by Argus and if he kills Argus, he risks being executed by Eurystheus. I have no desire to see my daughter marry the Son of Eurystheus, but on the other hand, I have no desire to see someone die on her account."

"Then we should send them both farther away!" exclaimed Timaeus, banging his cane upon the floor. "I came here hoping to see Heracles and Art came with me, gladly will I accompany him and Thebe away from Argolis. I could bring them to the court of Aeetes in Colchis!"

"Do you even know where Colchis is, Timaeus?" inquired Melia, hesitant to send her stepdaughter away with such an individual.

"I know its east!"

Sighing, Thebe stood up and made her exit from her abode. Not wanting her to be alone less she be at Argus' mercy, Art followed after her.
