Chapter 1

" I can't wait to come back. I miss you bunny." came from the other line.

"I know you do I miss you too" Avera replied to her friend Tyler.

"Oh bunny you sound so cute right now.Oooh my poor heart is going to explode from all this cuteness ." dramatically throwing her hands in the on the other line.

"ha ha such a drama queen. You should have been an actress you know." Avera said with her eyes fixed on the road as she was driving .

"that would be too tiring he...heee...heee.So where are you now?" asked Tyler sounding cheerful.

" On my way home"

T "Mmmh ok what you gon be busy with this weekend?"

A" You know the usual....workout,shower,clean the house,work on my presentation in order to get the promotion ,eat, shower,work on the presentation again then sleep."

" wow thats the most boring weekend plan ever.Bunny you are only 25 .You should be living your life."

Avera feigning ignorance "whose life Am I living right now?"

" You know damn well I ain't talking about that.What I mean is you are the youngest COO I've ever met,now You are aiming for the CEO position , your life just revolves around work.Get out there, meet new people open yourself to to the world.Let yourself feel Bunny please go partying and get drunk." Tyler sounding very desperate to convince her dear friend.

"Tyler thats not me and you know it"

"ok ok but when I come back we are going to the club even if I have to drag you there myself.Im not giving up on You I promise." She placed a hand across her chest making the promise as if her friend can see her.

" Whatever that works for you"

Tyler's secretary entered her office and mouthed " they are ready for you " to her.Tyler nodded and said her goodbyes to her friend " Bunny I've got to go now.Take care of yourself, I love you.Oooh almost forgot Im coming back on Thursday see you then."

"mmm bye Ty I love you too.Goodluck." and the line went dead.Avera parked her car in the garage then got into her house.She went straight to her bedroom took off her work clothes and wore her pyjamas which were fluffy and white.She went to the kitchen and prepared a salad for herself.Its not like she was watching her diet or something she was just not used to eating heavy meals thats why she preferred light ones like salads,noodles, soup,fruits and vegetables ...those kinds of food.

After eating she went to her bedroom and just lay there on the bed thinking about her presentation. Yeah her life was work ,work and more work.At 25 she was already living a life of a seventy years old.

Avera is a beautiful African American young lady who has 4C natural hair ,had an average height,she is neither big or slim and her body is so curvy at the places. She is brown skinned and that makes her even more beautiful.Avera lost her parents when she was 10 but 3 months later got adopted by the Johnson family who was their family friend.

Knock..... knock

"come in" said a calm voice inside the office.Alex's assistant came in carrying documents with the left hand and carrying coffe with the right one. "Boss these are the documents you requested earlier and here's your coffee."

"Thank you Sarah if there nothing else you may go home." Alex didn't even raise his head.

"Boss don't forget that your family invited you for dinner today."

"what time is it?"

" five thirty sir"

"ok I'll get going then thank you Sarah".Alex tidied up his desk took the documents that were brought by Sarah and his laptop bag then went to his car.

Alex didn't live with his family and hasn't seen then for three months now yet they were in the same City.Two years ago when he was 25 he decided to get his own apartment thats closer to his office because somedays he'll finish his work very late and will reach home past midnight.The McLeish mansion was in the outskirts of the city and it was a 2hour drive from his office .

He is the Ceo of Leish International which has five branches in other countries and the headquarter is in Country X where he is.He is a very strict boss but he is very approachable,his employees respect him so much whereas most the female employees fantasize about him.He has this majestic aura around him that demands respect.It was well known that Alex once had a girlfriend but broke with her because she demanded a lot of attention so now he is single because dating is time consuming.

After two hours he reached the McLeish mansion.It is

a very huge and beautiful mansion with a fountain at the front.He strode in and was greeted by the butler " welcome young master Alex.They are in the living room."
