Chapter 5

"Didn't you like him a lot? When you were little you used to follow him around everywhere." Manning's mother said.

"I just graduated; I want to work or help you manage the flower fields. I.." Manning said but her mother cut her off and said:

"Stupid child, a girl has to get married. Later we're going to the banquet organized by the Sun family. Let mama dress you up Manman" She continued.

....

At the banquet

"Manning!" Manning heard the familiar voice as she was walking towards the banquet.

She turned around and saw Noan rushing towards her.

"Stupid girl, I missed you so much. " Noan said as he embraced Manning.

"Noan" a hesitant Manning said

They had been together for 5 years, so Noan knew that something was wrong with his Manning.

"What is with you Manning? You seem a little distracted" Noan said.

Manning thought about telling Noan the truth , but she didn't

"Yesterday was your birthday Noan, I wanted to spend it with you. But you didn't come I... didn't sleep well last night so I'm a little absent minded today" Manning said.

"Ok then I will hug you later" Noan said as he picked up Manning in bridal style.

"Noan?!" a flabbergasted Manning said.

"At the banquet tonight my father will order me to take over Sun's Gold group and announce our engagement. Our wedding will be held in 3 months..." Noan said

He stopped in his tracks ,looked at Manning and said

"... Our wedding night my bride, I've always looked forward for it"
