Rosa was already groggy from the painkiller medicine Paulina gave her. She staggered back but stood still. Her eyes blinked and her face stared at both of them trying to make sense of what they are talking about. Borko let go of Nameir’s wrist and faced Rosa. Captain is looking for you. He avoided looking at her eyes. She decided to follow his words and head for the Captain’s room.

When she reached the place, the mood of the room was heavy on her the people stared at her. Captain Laudren was standing in the middle looking at her with accusing look. General Baliyo was standing on his side with the new commander of Logan’s troops. She glanced at him while moving towards the captain’s table. Laudren dismissed some of the soldiers. Eugene and Edan were standing on the other corner. They were pissed about something.

The shadow decided to enter the room with her, he whispered to her ears. ‘Oh no, things do not look good my dear.’
