“Well, Rosa, what do you say to another escorting mission?” Kaizan smirked at her.

She tilted her head to the right side. “Escort mission? I thought I am supposed to return to his highness's side.”

“Someone needs to help in getting these to the inspector's office. However, you are right, you must return to his highness's side. In fact.” He took out a scroll and handed it to Rosa.

“Deliver the reports to this mission to his highness directly and inform him I will return after questioning the chain.” He turned to watch the soldiers escorting a tied-up black knight known as the chain by the hands.

His legs and hands were tied with a large bandage on his stomach, barely keeping him alive even with the excess flow of blood.

Rosa blinked a bit as she remembered what happened inside. “What was the bet he was talking about?”
