Bk3: Ch–23 Meeting again(pt-1)

The work in the office took the longest. Waiz was yawning bored while Rouch and Lais talked. He stood straight trying to behave as well as possible. Ghassan was looking at them smiling. He looked at the prince as if he is a small child and his guardian is standing in the doorway. Waiz felt a bit uncomfortable standing for so long. He would rather have sparred with the cadets in the academy.

He glanced at the prince. ‘Tch! he does not even have the same color of skin as us. Is he even a real prince?’ Being different is getting a pity hint from his side but he did not wish to make it obvious.

Lais smiled as he got up from the table. It was already late in the night when they finished checking the papers.

“I am so sorry for keeping everyone in the room for so long. It is very late.” Rouch nodded his head.

“Yes, it is late, I am sorry I did not notice. It is too late to visit the academy now. Would you like to rest for today and visit the academy tomorrow?”
