The queen invited the knights to drink with her at every end of the week evening. She used to make them repeat the oath of loyalty every time they entered with a half glass of wine. To Lyon, it was beautiful as she was taking care of them, but it was just to poison them.

‘Were all of my brothers poisoned like this? Was this their plan? To kill all of us after we were done with the job?’ A feeling of choking came into her throat that made him vomit blood onto the floor.

He coughed out more. Lyon knew this was the end of him. To him, he was dying because of poison. He blamed the queen first to betray him like this, he blamed the emperor for abandoning them to ruins, and he blamed the weak Amanecer king who let such a queen enter this place. He kept on cursing those people. Then, in the end, he blamed himself. His body calmed down when he blamed himself.
