‘Should I just use this paste to blind this man?’ Her eyes studied the King. ‘However, I did not see this man fight. What if he is strong enough to defend? That will make the plan worse.’

‘The King could order to imprison you if you deny his words.’ The shadow leaned to whisper it to her.

‘That would be a nice reason for some people in the Empire to attack here, right?’ Rosa thought about the people she left back in the Empire.

‘I did win some good hearts.’ The anger subsided as she took her hand back and folded it in front of the King.

The tense environment in the room relaxed her.

“Your Highness, I have made different plans to strike you dead for the last few moments. Nothing in your words is interesting to me right now.” This time Khawar felt the heat of her words.
