Rosa let out a breath she was holding in, “You already know who I am.”

“Yes, there is only one female who would dare to take out a sword, and that would be someone who does not know the rules of the sand people. You are not from here. So, where are you from?” He turned around and nodded to one of the knights behind him.

Rosa followed his eyes. The knight quickly went back and took a horse to ride in the direction where Rosa stood to defend.

“From the vatakku? Or from the empire?” He grinned, putting force on his voice on the word empire.

‘Time is up, Rosa; he is going for the Ecruh princess.” The shadow warned her, pointing to the black knight going past her.
