Bk3: Ch– 64 Maid to princess(pt-1)

Her cream-coloured dress fluttered on the corner as she took small steps inside the decorated courtyard, just like the king’s palace. The place had more gardens than outside. The sun was equally burning inside, but the plants made moving easier. She pulled her veil to cover her face as she kept a low head and walked behind a man.

“Be careful not to give out your name. Talk as less as possible; you are not here to make friends, only to survey.” The man spoke.

He had a grim look; this was the fifth enslaved woman he had provided in the harem. Recently many lost their lives, and it is getting harder to understand what to make out of it.

“The corpses are so bloody; I don’t know which family is crazy enough to send their daughters in this again.” He glanced at her and walked to the brick building.

He motioned her to walk faster. The courtyard was filled with light-coloured, clothed servants, while some females wore a slightly dark colour.
