Bk3: Ch– 52 The verdict(pt-1)

The throne room is silent as the scene progresses. Prince Lais was standing on the side of the long carpet, looking at the two people kneeling in the middle. Waiz was kneeling, keeping his head down when the report was read while Rouch was on his side still with his friend. Everyone who came in with the prince gave their account of the black knights and the town of Layl.

"Do you plead guilty to charge ex-commander Waiz?" A man on the right pointed it out.

He was in his sixties, and the closest man to the king was Prime minister Waraq ibne Jabal. He was the most neutral person in the court. He does not follow anyone. Many people praise him for keeping the court well with his words. He made enemies with the Queen's faction and the concubines but stayed alive to make them powerless in the central court.
