Bk3: Ch– 148 Confused(pt-1)

Rosa did not understand the reason for Darce to behave like that.

She tilted her head, thinking. ‘His guard? Who is it?’

She turned her head to check around her and asked, ‘Who is this personal guard person?’

However, no one came into her view. When she turned her head back, she almost screamed in shock.

Darce was standing before her. “What are you doing? You should be following me.”

Then, it dawned on her what he meant by personal guard. Rosa lowered her voice to a whisper before speaking. “What are you trying to do?”

“You did not forget you are still my knight,” Darce smirked.

“You should protect me wherever I go.” He turned around, motioning for her to follow.

On the top of the stairs, the Baron and Ehsan stood waiting. Since Darce suddenly moved away, it made all of them curious. Only Ehsan was chuckling at the scene as he watched them climb the stairs. Rosa was walking behind Darce; she only turned to look confused at Tom, who also smirked, waving to her.
