“This might work for the better; how long do you think this will keep the peace between the countries?” Rosa also laid back beside him on the ground.

They were like kids counting the stars.

“Only until our allies decide to stab us.” Edan chuckled.

“What do you think will happen tomorrow?” Rosa asked, her throat a little quivering in fear.

The fear of the result of the battle grips everyone’s heart.

“Whatever happens, we will not give up without a fight. We will not let those Vatakku in our land.” Edan made a promise, keeping his hand on his heart.

Rosa chuckled. “Okay, then I promise to get rid of those Vatakku’s from here tomorrow.”

Edan got up from the ground, putting pressure on his elbows. “You think you can eliminate the Vatakkus within a day?”

“I am not thinking. I am going to do it. There is someone I wish to stand behind and protect. I want to go there.” Rosa blinked as she watched the clear sky.
