The scene behind her went away, with Senal and Darce’s faces disappearing quickly behind her. The sound of their footsteps became louder as the darkness became larger. Virgil took one of the torches from the side and lit it up before venturing further into the dungeon.

“I remember coming here before but never thought there was a pathway from here. Does my brother know about this?” Rosa’s eyes were moving around trying to memorize the features of the place.

“No His Majesty is not informed of all the passageways, this one is only for the butler and to be used on request as for your condition, my Lady,” Virgil explained his voice had a melody along with it.

Rosa watched the path as the silence continued to exist between them. Rosa decided to break it. “Have there been any changes in their behavior Virgil? I am worried with what I have heard.”
