Experiments and notes

'Beauty is in the eyes of the beer holder, not the beholder. What about handsomeness then? I must be drunk on cosmic smoke to even think this bastard is as handsome as I am seeing him to be.'

Arkan thought.

His eyes almost popped out of his head when a bottle magically appeared in the man's hand as he came closer to him.

That was when the bottle was placed in his mouth and the first drop of the milk-like substance touched his lips.

Feeling the hunger, Arkan wrapped his small hands and arms around it for dear life as he drank the nutritious milk. It was like he did not want Draka to take it away from him.

Seeing the handsome man smile, Arkan scowled at him.

'Fuck, if this is fortune and I was rescued by this angle looking wanna be motherfucker, then kill me now. If I have to live with this freak of nature that puts the word handsome to shame, I might be adopted by the Guardian of Fuck You! Before I could even walk.'

Arkan was at it again.

Looking at the child that he had rescued, Draka could not help but think of the conversation that he had with the woman.

'Unlike me, it seems that even when you are a day old you already have a bright future ahead of you.'

He thought, looking at the symbols and thinking of the blood and the fact that this baby passed through the sea of dark clouds without dying or suffering some side effects.

He thought of his own circumstance and quickly started to theorize how Arkan's blood and body worked.

After a while and watching Arkan fall asleep again, a creepy smile started to show on Draka's face.

"Looks like you and I might be more alike than I thought."

He said as a small bottle with a dark green liquid appeared in his hand.

'Is this fate.'

It was the second time that he had mentioned fate and It was the second time that he did not know that if 'Fate' heard him associate her with Arkan, a clap that carried the power of an exploding sun was the least that he was going to get.

This was a week ago.

Each day from the day that Draka had come back from the capital had been some of the worse days in Arkan's life.

This was the same as the others. Arkan would wake up, Draka would inject him with an injection that had a liquid that had been clear as water on the first day, but had been getting greener and greener each time his body gets faster at expelling it from his body.

'Why do his eyes glow red every time Demon Cry glares at him?'

He asked himself. Draka had started calling Arken by that nickname because of the inhuman cry he lets out every time he curses him.

'I better stay clear of them. For some reason, I feel danger when I look at his eyes when they are in that state.'

Draka thought. He did not know everything Arkan was capable of yet but his experience fighting was telling him to stay clear of those eyes when they turned red.

The fact that a flash of red had passed through the dark sea of clouds the day that he had saved him from his fall was one of the reasons that he felt that way even as powerful as he was.

'Seems like I may conclude the first part of the experiment. This seems like the correct dose to keep on straightening his resistances. Should I go on to Fire, acid, or lightning? Some of the most distractive elements to an indivial Primal?'

Draka thought as he retreated to his lab.

He set down and frowned as his excitement died down. He remembered the woman in the shop again.

'It is looked down upon to experiment on children in the Primal World. I know what drives us. We tend to want our children to surpass us in the Primal World and carry on our name, thus driving us to do things that we think will benifeat them from a young age. I am not here to tell you what to do, but if you, just like many others want to give their child a bright future, just remember that he is still a child.'

That was the first thing she had said to him after returning from gathering what he needed for Arkan.

'Woman! I am not experimental ok…. I am making him stronger. I saw that he could take it from the moment I saw those changing eyes of his. It is like that of a man on a mission.'

He thought as he sighed.

'Why am I even thinking about her? What she does not know won't hurt. I just have to make Demon Cry sign a broken contract or just bribe him when he gets older. Besides, he will understand when he is the strongest of his generation.'

He resolved himself and put all this at the back of his head.

He started to write down his findings.

'Resistance to poisons - It seems that his resistance to poisons keeps on growing as his body gets used to identifying them and dispelling them even when he is days old....'

'Rather than fighting against them or destroying them, his body or blood seems to be able to identify them and expel them from his body.'

'A note to take is the fact that I am using a concoction of poisons, which means that it does not matter what kind of poison enters his bloodstream.'

'Healing - His body seems to possess an ability to heal. For now, I can conclude that this is why it is possible for the poison to be expelled in the first place as any part of his body that has been ravaged by the poisons before they were expelled from his body is healed at the same pace as in other observations.'

'It seems the healing process stays the same even when being used each time I inject him with the poisons. Is there a way to increase it?'

'Red eyes - I have the slight notion that those eyes contain some sort of power.'

'The cry - Is this the devil's spawn I am trying to raise???'

'Child care - It might be the first time taking care of a child, but I might be the beast in Eldeir. He shall be the most powerful Primal that will ever walk the face of the Primal World.'

'Symbols - Looking at them, I think an idiot might have written them. They do not make sense whatsoever.'

'The Child - I think he wants to kill me. At the same time, his eyes seem to contain too much awareness for a....'

He could not finish his notes.

The cave shook and he was more than surprised, to say the least. It had been a long time since something similar had happened and this jolted him out of his chair and instantly appeared next to Arkan.

He looked at the walls and he was ready to protect him if any of the boulders fell.

The rambling stopped in a few seconds and he finally looked at Arkan.

Seeing the little devil spawn sleeping like the baby he was, Draka clicked his tough at the innocence and ignorance a child had.

'Only one person in the capital can make the Fortress Mountains shake like this.'

He thought as he went outside to look at the state of his surroundings. When he reached outside he stopped as another thought came to him.

'No, I know of two people who have the power to do such a thing.'
