For a few days now, Ayakashi's been working hard to train his body and adjust to its new strength.

He realized that even though he had became stronger, he needed time to get used to these changes.

At first, when his power surged, he struggled to control his body like he used to, when using Earth Manipulation he would use more Magic Power than he wants, or sometimes crushing other things.

To cope with this, he began training his body and skills.

Also keeping in the check how much he had improved, he would test this out on the Twin tail wolves by luring inside the Passage he made. and killing them to consume.

However, this didn't make him exponentially more powerful; it only improved his stats slightly.

So, he understood he needed to consume more Powerful Magic beasts to make more progress.

In addition to his eating regimen, he honed the skill he learned from the Twin Tails wolf.

While he might have became incredibly strong, he still lacked the experience to effectively battle skilled opponents.

Now, after his intense training, he found himself in an open space within the cave. Feeling hungry and confident, Ayakashi was ready to try a new approach.

He had grown accustomed to his enhanced body and stood there, prepared to take on the monster Ahead.

//Crash!//

A sharp, ear-catching sound reverberated as if a powerful force had been released.

"Kyuuu~~~"

A high-pitched cry echoed through the area, catching Ayakashi's attention.

The Jumping Master Rabbit, known for its incredible jumping ability, it attacked Him the moment it spotted him.

It sent a kick in his direction, but Ayakashi evaded the attack easily. The force of the rabbit's landing left a small crater on the ground.

"Kyuuuuu"

The rabbit's cry resonated once again, this time with a hint of frustration.

Undeterred by its missed kick, it jumped once more, using a different method.

Instead of a direct confrontation, the rabbit used its unique skill, creating a compact cushion of air beneath its feet.

This allowed it to jump in mid-air, circling around Ayakashi rapidly in an attempt to confuse him. As its velocity built, it took the opportune moment to strike.

//Boom//

A booming sound created in the air as the rabbit lunged forward at an incredible speed.

Just as it was about to close in on Ayakashi, a thin spike of earth shot up quickly.

The spike impaled the rabbit in its mid-jump, putting an end to its assault in an instant.

With the lifeless rabbit hanging on the spike, Ayakashi observed his handiwork.

His control over manipulating the earth had improved significantly, However, he acknowledged that there's always room for improvement.

Drawing nearer to the defeated creature, he tore off one of its legs from the body. Using lightning field, he roasted the meat efficiency.

Before his Fight with Jumping Master Rabbits, Ayakashi took his time to leak about it's movement and methods to deal with other beasts.

"It's still disgusting," he said, but his face didn't didn't express any ounce of disgust, he continued eating without leaving anything behind.

After eating that, he started to feel changes all around his body, a peculiar sensation began to stir within his body, causing a ticklish feeling that seemed to happening in his legs in particular.

"Let's see how much I have gained." He said, as that feeling disappear.

It didn't increase much, but he gained the new skill.

He immediately checked out what [Divine Step] does. First picturing an image of the Kicking Rabbit kicking off the ground, focusing on a speed so fast, its body appeared blurred.

This is important to invoke magic, Although he had the skill Magic Manipulation, he still needed imagination to use any skills.

Alongside Divine Step was the skill [+Ground Shrink] that was together with it. Speaking of Ground Shrink, it is a famous high speed movement on Earth.

Imagining an explosion under his feet like the rabbit was doing, Ayakashi kicks off all at once. His body's magic instantly gathered under his feet, causing a compression where his feet had stepped, maybe the strength and magic was more than he expected, he almost Slammed himself to the wall.

Knowing he needed to train again to master his new skill, he went back to the small room he had created within the Cave.

In the distance, a blurry shape came into view. It had a mix of purple and black colors. It jumped up in the air but stopped suddenly.

This figure was, Ayakashi who stood on a Tile made up of compressed air which he made using a skill [Aerodynamics], he gained together with Air Jump.

Currently, He was watching a pack of Twin Tails wolves.

"Aooooooo,"

It sounded like the wolves caught a scent, maybe his scent.

//Grrrrr//

The wolves got aggressive and turned their attention to where Ayakashi was standing.

Ad they saw him, One of them leaped towards him.

Ayakashi also didn't step back. He jumped too and flipped in the air towards the wolf.

When both of them were close, He kicked the wolf's head.

//Bam//

The impact made the wolf crash down hard. The wolf's head bursts like smashing a watermelon, it's blood splattered on the groun.

The wolf's body went limp very quickly.

//Grrr//

The other wolves howled, furious at seeing their member taken down easily.

All of them charged towards Ayakashi. One of them created a lightning field and sent a bolt of lightning at him.

But Ayakashi acted quickly. He created a huge wall of earth to shield himself.

And then, using the same wall, he made it fall on the wolves.

//Boom//

The wall fell down, but some of wolves managed to got away, but a few got crushed under it..

Ayakashi didn't wait for them to come to him. He used his control over the Earth.

"Pierce," he whispered, while imagining a sight thousand of spike coming out from the ground, acting on his wish, Purple black lines appeared.

Suddenly, many spikes shot up from the ground and impaled the wolves. They were all killed in an instant.

After that, he went on to hunt a few more Kick Master Rabbits and some small packs of Twin Tails wolves.

"So, it's coming huh?" He said, looking in the direction of the talon bear which was rushing towards him.

Ayakashi wait for the Talon bear, it's time.for him to leave these floor, except for this bear he had already slaughtered other Beasts, which would re-spawn again.

"I'm grateful to you for teaching me something.

"Do you want to know what it is?, that Nobody gonna come to save me, Nor I thought Someone want to be."

"I'm still weak, but I will become stronger, by devouring you."

"For that, Can I really survive? I'm not sure."

"But what I do know is that I want to stay alive,"

"Well, Let's begin, After all you won't even understand what I'm saying." he launched himself into the Air, on his let's sparks cracked.

Using the Ground Shrink skill, he went straight towards the Talon bear, without hesitation confronting the beast head-on.

Closing the distance, he spun himself into mid Air, and directed a kick at the bear's head, but bear didn't let it happen, using it's one of paw, it tried to defend itself.

When the kick landed on its paw and that Power beghin it shattered it bones, lighting course from bear's body.

He attack didn't stop there. His tail crackled with electricity, launching direct lightning attacks at the bear's body, it glazed through it's face, destroying half of it's face.

However, Talon bear also didn't sit there,

"Grooooowl"

With a fierce growl, the Talon bear slammed one of its massive paws onto the ground, triggering a rush of energy toward Ayakashi.

Who just landed on the ground, didn't expecting the bear could endure that lighting attack. this lightning can easily kill the kick Master Rabbit, meaning this bear is more capable than what it seems off.

A wound opened on his chest, not as deep as before.

Ayakashi knowing, he shouldn't let guard down, quickly gulped down the Ambrosia he had brought all together with him, it worked within the Seconds healing his body like nothing had happened.

With his Earth Manipulation, he binded the bear's body with Earth Chan and conjured many spikes to pierce the bear's body.

Unyielding, the bear stand still despite the injury, panting and it was again ready to strike again...

Ayakashi didn't let it happen, he launched himself in the Air again leaving spark of electricity behind, striking it again.

"Growl"

Groaning in pain, the bear's let out a roar.

In a moment, Ayakashi targeted the bear's other hand, by attacking bear's Shoulder he crippled its ability to use skill.

It was helpless, both of it's arms were no usable, and it's body was restrained many Earth chains.

Drawing near, he asked.

"Do you know what my status says?"

he said in a deep voice, than paused, and he continued,

"It says, I'm a Monster,"

"But I'm not yet, but I would become a real Monster Soon..." as he said that, the body of Talon bear shuddered in the fear.

"Before that, let me eat that meat."

Talon bear saw, glowing eyes drawing near him, it wanted to escape but...

Ayakashi pressed his face against the bear's neck, it was covered in fir and was tough but Ayakashi dug his teeth into the meat and consuming a large portion.

Blood flowed from the wound as he tasted the flavour of his victory.

"It tastes better than others," he mumbled before using his Electric Manipulation to roast the bear's remains, started eating just like he ate others.

When he finished, the bear once again Changes started to occuring, Ayakashi felt thr sudden rise of Magic Power Within him. his body Started to spasm like before...
