Vs Oscar Orcus - Phase 2

[ ~ Chapter • Start ~ ]

Feeling the danger that began to emit from the E.S.K. the group began to split up to the sides of this room, and as they did, the gigantic mecha suddenly closed the distance towards the students and slammed it's fist down to the ground, creating a long fissure that possibly reached to the entrance.

The fissures then exuded an immensely hot energy that had the students stay inside powerful barriers that repelled the dangerous heat and energies from the fissures.

It stayed for a while before E.S.K. retracted it's hand and watched as the damage he had given to the environment was immediately fixed.

"Now that is a pretty scary enemy...."

Hajime commented behind Kaori as he loaded a few special explosive bullets in the Freischutz while he stared at the glowing jewel on the chest of the E.S.K.

Shimizu, who was behind him, began to focus on charging up a Dark Magic spell.

"I've seen bigger in videogames. But that's not the time for little chatter. Now, [Mind Charge]!"

He said, patting Hajime's shoulder before casting his magic to him. The effect of the spell was immediate, as Hajime began feeling like he could focus more clearly for a short period of time.

"[Azure Blaze!]"

"Lord of Thunder, please grant judgement to mine enemies - [Lighting Cannon]!"

"[Ice Javelin - Burst]!"

"Thunderous Gale, show us your wrath - [Insane Gale Ripper]!"

"Darkness blacker than ink, consume my enemies in the most spectacular manner! - [Great Explosion]!"

A bright blue sun was created by Aletia before it was launched towards the gigantic mecha the same time several offensive spells were fired from the students.

Aside from that, some of those spells were created directly by the students, so it was no surprise that Aletia wondered what those spells are until they were cast.

Even Hajime had fired directly towards the supposed weakpoint the E.S.G. had several times in several seconds.

The convergence of the attacks created a significant amount of smoke that covered the Mecha's body, yet as expected by few people, it was barely affected, only gaining minor noticeable damage to its shoulders, chest, and arms.

"Try harder!"

Oscar(?) yelled out, making his Mecha kick the nearest student, that one being Jugo, straight to the wall near the entrance at sound-breaking speeds.

The impact his body made had created a huge crater on the wall that began to fix itself in a short period of time, making him stuck on the same wall with only his hands, legs and face visible.

Of course, Jugo, with his strength managed to make himself unstuck in the wall, but it seems like the fight was about to rise in difficulty.

The E.S.K. took on a stance, crossing it's arms before they split up to reveal a 5 meter cannon and a long, 10-meter blade.

And in one swift movement, a long vertical arc of energy quickly approached half of the group, while several beams of light were fired from the cannon, targeting the other.

Barriers were immediately destroyed (while still protecting those behind it), and those who were moving at high speeds or those who kept moving around with barely any rest, like Shizuku evaded the attacks.

She leaped up the air through the wall and landed at the flat blade of the E.S.K, before immediately closing her distance towards the shoulder of the mecha.

Several turrets appeared from it's arms and shoulders, firing several powerful spells and launching missiles towards her. Yet, she swiftly evaded the spells and cut the missiles apart.

Her blade, being made by the efforts of Satoru using a mixture of Stahl and Taur Ore, was immediately hardened and sharpened by the use of the flame magic engraved on it.

"[Crimson Blossom]!"

She yelled out her technique, turning around just as she was near one of the turrets and cutting it off, before leaping towards a group of turrets and splitting them apart.

Immediately gaining another better idea, she began to skillfully slice the arm she was on while she ran up towards the shoulder of the E.S.G, confident she dealt enough damage to it.

But before she could continue cutting the arm to deal more damage, a cobra purely made out of thunder suddenly appeared and struck her with it's whole body, sending her to the wall, paralyzed and with severe burns on her body.

However, there was a small smile on her face, as the pieces of metal fell down to the floor, and the students trying to damage the legs retreated to evade the metal debris about to hit them.

"Shizuku!"

Several students noticed her temporary defeat and yelled out in surprise, providing their enemy with a mild distraction that allowed it to retreat by hopping away from its attackers.

With only one arm left, it should have no other way to attack, right?

That mindset did not apply to these experienced teenagers, after all, their teacher kept telling them to expect the unexpected, right?

A few of the students, having enough time to prepare, immediately asked the others to retrieve Shizuku from her confines.

"Kaori! We need healing, now!"

"On it!"

They still wondered what the hell Oscar was doing, allowing them to attack the giant Mecha which was currently unresponsive, despite that, it began to exude steam.

It must be weakened! Now's their chance!

Hajime kept firing Freischütz at the supposed core with little effect. Therefore...

He has to bring the larger gun.

An Anti-Materiel Rifle, to be precise.

"This is the first time I had to use [Schlagen] a month prior before, so I'll have to rely on this chance!"

He yelled out, holding one massive rifle that was as tall as him with his one arm.

It was at this moment that everyone gained a victorious smile. That Anti-Materiel Rifle is actually several times stronger than those from Earth.

It actually could possibly Oneshot everything, but only make a large dent to the strongest material in this world, Azantium.

Right now, the moment the Oscar(?) inside the E.S.K. noticed him take out the [Schlagen], he immediately began to charge up one final attack from its core.

But, Hajime had already charged up [Schlagen] and shot down the core, causing a massive explosion that caught the entire room.

The group all had to be inside their best and sturdiest barrier made by the healers and tanks of the group because the mecha can destroy the supposed strongest and impenetrable barrier in this world.

That, did mean that there's still beings stronger than them.

However...

He was still pretty much alive.

"Kuff!!! Kuff!!! Damn, that's as powerful as two nuclear bombs! Well, if I hadn't used my abilities to their fullest, I would be half-dead!"

Man this fight was kinda disappointing. Oh well, that is a prototype, though.
