A Friend

"Tell me you forgive me, Arianna." He asked again, tracing his thumb on her lips. Arianna felt her legs getting shaky and if it wasn't for Marcus holding her, she would have found herself on the ground.

"Tell me, Arianna, say it." He demanded, his lips inches away from her.

Arianna blinked her long lashes thrice, her breath was seized as her blue eyes stared at Marcus's own.

"Marcus…" she whispered, even though she wanted to pull from his hold, her body was doing otherwise. She wanted to stay there, stay in his warm embrace forever.

"I won't let you go if you don't tell me, Arianna. Tell me you forgive me." His breath fanned her face and she closed her eyes.

"F… Fine, I forgive you. I forgive you, now let me go." She said with gritted teeth, glaring at Marcus, who was smiling like a fool. He was obviously enjoying himself.

"See that wasn't so hard, right?" He teased, pulling himself from her body.
