CHAPTER 6

(ARIA'S POV)

After lunch we had a free period, so I just hung out with kelvin and his friends while we were talking, I saw the social worker coming so I told them to be quiet.

"Miss Romano, we found your relatives."

"Really" I asked kind of excited.

"Yeah"

"Who are they to me?"

"Oh, your father and siblings"

"Whatttttt my real dad is alive, and I have siblings."

"Yes, dear didn't your mum tell you."

"She told me that my dad died in an accident because of me but she didn't say anything about siblings."

"Well dear she lied to you, you have a father and a lot of siblings."

"wow"

'So did they agree to take her in" kelvin asked for me because I was still in shock, I prayed that they would want to take me in

"Yes, they did they are actually on their way here right now."

"Wow that's great" Jennifer said and hugged me.

"They?" I asked the woman.

"Yes, your father and your sister" wow I have a sister I can't believe this but what if she's mean like Jennifer, but Jennifer is rich so that's why she's mean so I'm sure my sister is not like that except she's rich too but if my mum left, I'm sure my dad's not rich.

"Okay so I should probably go home and pack then."

"No need dear we already did."

"oh thanks" it was now 4pm and I was in class the teacher kept on talking but I don't remember the things she said because I was too busy thinking about my dad and siblings what if they don't like me? what if they abuse me like my mum and stepdad? throughout the class I kept on thinking about it when the class was over, I felt a tap on my shoulder I turned around and found my friends kelvin and Jennifer yes, I called them my friends Jennifer apologies for how she treated me, and I forgave her. so, when I turned, I saw them smiling at me I smiled back they sat down with me.

"So, I noticed you weren't paying attention in class at all" Jennifer asked me with a suspicious tone.

"Yeah, I was thinking about my new family what if they don't like me."

"You are a very sweet person Aria anyone who does not like you is just ignorant" kelvin said and I smiled.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but kelvin is right I failed to see the real you that's why we weren't friends for a long time" she said smiling at me

"Thank you, guys this means, so much to ..........." I was cut off by the sound of car engines roaring and sirens blowing. we went outside to check the commotion.

"Woah is the president here of what" kelvin said looking amused.

"Yeah what's with so many cars and the police as well must be an important figure" as they were deliberating some men got down from the first and second car wearing all black and holding guns one of them went to the car in the middle and open the two back doors and a man about the age of 54 or 55 came out looking like a king from the other side a young lady about the age of 23 or 25 came looking so beautiful and elegant.

"Woah she's so pretty" Jennifer said gushing over the lady.

"Yeah, she's hot right Aria."

"Yeah She's really a beautiful sight to behold" I said complimenting her while we were talking we notice my social worker and the policeman that came to me this morning to tell me the news come out of their police car and walked straight to the man and woman and bowed in respect towards them they spoke for a while then the social worker pointed to me and then all of them started walking to me are they my father and sister 'oh my god'

"O.M. G they are your family" Jennifer says looking at me.

"Na, they look too rich to be my family" after some time I noticed someone running towards me and it was the young lady.

"Guys she's running towards me" I said in a panicking voice, she stood in front of me smiling then she pulled me into a hug which made me wince a little, but I couldn't help the feeling that's engulfing me right I felt loved and safe. she pulled away and I felt sad a little then she said with an angelic voice.

"I missed you so much baby sister."

"Really"

"Yes, sweetie we did."

"So, you knew about me."

"Yes of course"

"Then why did we not leave together" I asked her then she turned to face my dad with tears in her eyes then she stepped back a little.

"Sweetie, we did know about you but when you were just 2 years old your mother took you away, we tried finding you, but we couldn't it was like you and your mother disappeared I'm so sorry dear please don't hate us" he said very sincerely.

"Yes, please don't hate us I won't be able to bear it if you hate me, you can hate our brothers though they are very annoying" she said, and I chuckled.

"Mia don't poison her mind against your brothers please."

"Dad, you know I'm telling the truth."

"whatever" my friends and I chuckled a little

"So chubby cheeks are you going to come with us our brothers are waiting."

"Chubby cheeks" I asked with raised brows and Mia and Dad laughed.

"Yes, you had the cutest chubby cheeks when you were little so I gave you the nickname but don't worry I'll give you a more mature one later would you like that" she said grinning.

"Yes, sis I'd love it" when I called her 'sis' her eyes lit up and she hugged me tightly I winced again, but she was too involved in the hug to notice but dad did, so he pulled her back.

"sorry"

"it's fine."

"it's just that I have waited for years for you to call me that again" I smiled at her and from the corner of my eyes I saw dad smiling but there was a hint of sadness and jealousy in his eyes, so I decided to see if this theory was correct.

"So shall we go" dad asked.

"Yes, sir oh I mean yes dad we can go" I said smiling and I saw all the jealousy and sadness leave his eyes in a flash and then they were replaced with tears.

"Oh, my baby girl I missed hearing that from you" he said as he hugged me, and I felt so safe in his arms.

"let's go now."

"Yes, sis but I want to say goodbye to my friends first."

"of course, dear" I turned to my friends and hugged both of the then kelvin whispered to me saying.

"I'll call you every day."

"of course, you should" I whispered back, and we broke the hug the I hugged Jennifer she said in a whisper as well.

"I'm sorry for everything and I'll be calling, and texting everyday so always keep your phone on ok."

"It's fine and yes I'll keep my phone" we broke the hug.

"Make sure you come and visit us soon ok."

"Of course,"

"bye" the both of them said together.

"bye" then my dad sister and I left.
