Commentator: "Ladies and gentlemen, today we are here to witness the first round of battles in the Interstellar Arena!"

A green dwarf or gnome with sunglasses began speaking inside an arena resembling the Colosseum in Rome.

"Whohoo, yes!" "Let's get started already!" Several cheers and words erupted from the crowd seated in the arena's stands.

The arena could accommodate almost 100,000 spectators and transmitted the spectacle via satellite, connecting thousands of planets across the universe!

This event takes place only once a year, bringing together the strongest fighters or individuals from all planets in the universe.

Participants are determined through a qualifying round, selected among the most powerful from each planet in a solar system to narrow down the combatants.

From that point on, at the end of each calendar year, this highly anticipated event takes place, drawing the attention of a large number of spectators.

Commentator: "In the first match, two warriors with great skills are facing off! On the left, we have the human fighter known as 'Teacher Blade'!"

An elderly man with a human-like appearance but elongated stood in the center of the colosseum.

Several shouts and cheers erupted again in the area, momentarily interrupting the event.

Commentator: "And on the right, of an unknown race, we have 'Death Breath'!"

A monstrous figure emerged from the waiting room, its upper body resembling a giant wolf, while the lower part seemed to be that of a bull. Its appearance was intimidating... Standing at a height of 4 meters.

"Boo, boo," "Did you escape from a zoo, beast?" Hahahaha." Unlike the Elderly man, 'Death Breath' was booed and insulted.

Death Breath: "Hmm, I'll take care of you all when I win this tournament!"

Both participants reached the center of the colosseum.

Death Breath: "Prepare yourself, old man. I won't go easy on you. I hope you've taken your pills, Hahahaha."

The creature wasted no time mocking his opponent.

Teacher Blade: "Hmp, in my time, young people were more polite... I'll have to teach you some manners."

Commentator: "Now that they're ready, let me explain the rules...

The only rule is to kill your opponent, render them unconscious, or die trying! Begin!"

When the commentator's voice fell, the monster was the first to attack. It launched a powerful punch towards the poor old man. The latter did not dodge it and took the blow head-on, being dragged ten meters and destroying part of the terrain. (The combat area is made of stones).

"Hahahaha, I told you! This tournament will be mine!"

The audience was left in shock. Had the battle ended so quickly? Some had just gone to buy snacks, and this felt like a waste of time! Those who had bet on 'Teacher Blade' winning were on the verge of fainting.

However, the loser's body began to move and stand up.

Teacher Blade: "Hohohoho, that was a good hit. Now my hip can move better..."

Upon hearing this, 'Death Breath' snorted in anger and lunged at the old man once again. Closing the distance between them, it struck the elderly man in the ribs and jaw once more. But when it tried to deliver a back kick, the old man easily stopped its foot with his hand, a yellow glow emanating from his fingers.

"Well, I suppose it's my turn, dear friend, Hohoho," He pointed his other hand forward at the monster. A strong gust of wind hit 'Death Breath,' sending it flying into the stands. Before crashing into the crowd, it collided with an invisible wall separating the stands from the battlefield.

This was a special barrier created to prevent the risk of spectators dying from any attack during battles to the death.

Shouts and exclamations of surprise once again rang out through the colosseum at the change in the situation they witnessed. Just moments ago, they thought the old man was already dead!

Returning to the battle, 'Death Breath' struggled to its feet, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

Death Breath: "You... you were toying with me... don't provoke me if you don't want to die!" Its body began to change into a complete wolf form, its size decreased, but now it had sharp claws for cutting flesh! It ran towards his opponent, evading his air blasts.

When it got close, it leaned its body and took two steps to the left to dodge a point-blank strike, then launched an attack with its claws, hitting the old man. Without wasting any time, it opened its mouth and bit 'Teacher Blade's' left arm, causing him to grunt in pain from both blows.

"Ohhh, how despicable of you! Taking advantage of an old man!" Some insults were directed towards 'Death Breath.'

"Disqualify the monster! It can't transform; that's cheating!" Others sympathized with the poor old man.

'Teacher Blade' opened the palm of his hand, and a yellow light once again concentrated in his arm until it reached his fist. Clenching it, he struck the wolf's head and buried it in the ground!

When he looked at his arm, he realized that the Wolf had bitten off his entire forearm.

Teacher Blade: "It's a reasonable loss. I didn't come here for tea... Hohoho."

Seeing that his opponent was unconscious, the old man began to walk back.

"Woo, woo, great job, old man! Thanks for making me a millionaire!"

"I'm free tonight, my love, come if you want!"

"It was a great battle! What a great way to kick off the event."

Thanks and applause rained down from the stands.

Commentator: "Excellent! Excellent. The winner of this match is 'Teacher Blade,' who now advances to the second round of the Interstellar Battle!"

However, the ground began to shake, and 'Death Breath's' figure emerged again, but this time in its full bull form!

Death Breath: "Old man, you'll pay for this!" Running at full speed, it impaled the elderly man with its horns in the chest!

Teacher Blade tried to defend himself with his power, but he couldn't do it in time. Spitting out blood, his heart was completely destroyed.

He fell dead. The colosseum fell into a deathly silence, and after a few seconds, boos and insults erupted.

Death Breath: "Hahahaha, you deserve it, old man. Even if I lose, your planet will be destroyed too!"

Commentator: "Hmm, since Death Breath was previously defeated and declared a loser, his planet will be destroyed!

In Teacher Blade's case, although he won the match, his overconfidence cost him dearly, and he died as well. His planet will be eliminated too!"

"Ehhh? What does this mean? It's not fair to both of them! Even that beast didn't care about his planet's lives!" Dissatisfied spectators once again shouted insults.

As the platform was cleared and the bodies removed, two screens simultaneously displayed two different planets.

The first one bore a striking resemblance to Earth, with water covering most of its surface.

On the other screen, a completely different place appeared. The atmosphere looked very polluted, with debris floating in its orbit, and most of the planet was dark green.

The next second, cracks appeared on both planets and began spreading far and wide, with beams of light seeming to emanate from their cores. The next moment, an explosion lit up the entire screen.

Regaining the signal, the spectators looked at the screen, only to find cosmic debris.
