Adam's POV

I was sleeping in my room when my door knocked,

"Yes, who's there?" I said as I don't have any idea who could be there, then I heard a familiar voice, it was my aunt's voice,

"It's me, Adam, open the door, I wanna talk to you"

"Okay, aunt wait for me downstairs, I'll be there," I said while getting up from the bed and then going towards the washroom to take a bath. As I took the shower, I went out and wore a grey suit as I was the CEO😎,

While looking in the mirror, I feel like Isa was looking at me. I started imagining her while helping me wear my suit and knocking on my tie.

Then I went out and locked the door. As I went downstairs, I saw Mia and aunt were waiting for me.

"Oh my, you are looking so handsome." aunty said.

"Are you going somewhere at this hour, it's still so early," Mia said.

"I am going to my friend's wedding" I don't want anyone to know about me so I lied.

"I'm done," I said while cleaning my hand and getting up from the chair.

"Adam, if you are not late can you come to my room? I have to talk to you about something important" aunty said while standing up from her seat.

"Okay then, I 'll be there," I said with a warm smile on y face. After a while, I knocked on aunty's room door and entered the room, She was sitting on the bed while waiting for me.

"Aunty I'm already late, so please hurry up tell me what is it"

"Ah dear, it's like Isa is no more in this world and you already keeping a girl in your house," She said.

"But aun-" I was about to say something when she cut me off.

"But people say something else, tomorrow I went to do some shopping when I heard some woman gossiping about our house, about the environment in our house, that you have kept a girl in your house since your parents died."

She started giving me a lecture. "Look, aunty, Why keep your ears on people's talk, the only work they knows is to talk about others. Why listening them?" I replied.

"But son, either I don't want her to be in this house," she said as saying the exactly thing she wants to.

"And why don't you like her?" I said while folding hands on my shoulder.

"Because, I think she is a gold digger and living in this house without any relation with you or me, Where is her mom, didn't she cares? Her mom must be involved in this planning, I'm telling you" she was just kept on saying when I get up and said,

"Aunty I'm getting late and as soon as Mia is related you want me to bound a relation with her right? okay then I'll do it either" I said and went out and saw Mia was still sitting on the chair while waiting for me.

"Adam, you are looking too handsome, what if a beautiful girl liked you at the wedding, and asked you to be her dance partner?" she said while coming closer to me.

"I'm not going to any wedding, babe" I can't hide it anymore from her, because I already know she was not a gold digger like my aunt.

"Then where are you going? wait don't tell me you are going to meet someone else or on a date?"

"Your boyfriend is the CEO of WEQI GROUP, babe. He doesn't have time for these things," the expression she bore on her face was clearly showed her real happiness.

I went out and started driving towards the office. I was working in my office when Jianjian showed up,

"Sir, someone wants to meet you"

"Just ask them to come later, I'm busy" I said without looking at her as I was really busy on my laptop. But sir she's an old lady it's not convenient to ask her to leave. "What did she want?"

I said in a cold tone. "She is saying that she's the grandmother of an Isa named girl" as soon as I heard those words I immediately went into flashback

-FLASHBACK

"Hey, don't tease me, give it back to me now," Isa said while I just smiled.

We were walking in the park while playing with each other when something caught my attention. I saw an old woman trying to play with some children in the park but the kids were not even talking to her because maybe she was too old.

She was so pitiful and maybe abandon by her children. I looked at her and just ignored her, but when I looked at Isa, she was also looking at her. I thought she will also ignore her but she kept on staring at her, I gently shake her hand to bring her back to work and she got finched.

"let's go, Isa, what are you looking at?" I said while holding her hand, but she didn't move even a little bit from her place and then started walking towards the old woman.

"Aunty, hello, are you alone?" she said while bending at her level as she was sitting on the bench.

The old woman in response replied "I am" while looking down at the ground.

"Can I sit with you?" Isa said with a warm smile on her face. She nodded and kept her hand on the empty bench beside her while bearing a wide smile on her face as she was waiting for someone to give her company, and then Isa sat beside her.

Gosh~how can she leave her boyfriend alone for an old woman, I started getting jealous of this woman already🙄 . They both were talking like there is no one except them in the park.

I started roaming in the park while looking at the children, they were playing happily with no worries, I don't like kids but because Isa liked them so yeah I like them a little bit, but only a little bit.

I was walking in the park and waiting for Isa when I saw a kid about 4-5 years old, was running towards me and stopped when approaches me. I sit down on his level,

"Hey, little monster" I said while smiling at his cute little face. He was wearing shorts and simple slippers, his face was red like a tomato and his hair was messed up badly as he was playing for half an hour.

"Sir" he whispered in my ear but he was too short so I bend a little more for him to approach my ear.

"Yes???" I also whispered.

"Is the lady in the red coat with you?" I nodded while smiling.

"Are you her boyfriend?" he again asked.

"Yeah, I am," I said while feeling proud to be the boyfriend of that cute and kind-hearted girl.

"Leave her alone" the expression he was bearing on his face suddenly changed into a darker one.

"And why I should leave her?" I said trying my best to be relaxed and not to be out of my control.

"Because I liked her!!!!" he said with an angry face. While I got shocked at his statement and laughed when Isa called me from behind as I was about to go he hold my hand and said

"Remember what I told you, don't go near her." He was really getting on my nerves now, but because Isa was standing behind me I have to get a hold over myself. I ignored him and went toward Isa,

"You guys have talked for a long time, you don't even know her, how come you can talk to her for a decade?"

"Decade??? Adam are you in your senses? It's been half an hour only since we started talking" she said while laughing loudly, while I was just looking at her.

Day # 02

Mia asked me to go to the same park as yesterday she wants to bring something for that aunt and maybe wants to spend some time with her. I agreed as I can't refuse her. As we reached that place that particular aunty smiled at Isa in a way as she already knew that Isa will come.

She sand up from the bench and hugged her and then she started coming towards me to hug me too but I immediately took backsteps as I don't like interaction with outsiders and liked to maintain a distance from others.

She got sad and stay away from me but when I looked at Isa, she was staring at me as if she will kill me to death. The old women went towards her and again they started talking uff~ I was too exhausted now. Is she coming there to talk to her or to spend time with her one and only boyfriend?

The old woman stood up and came towards me,

"Kid you've die for love for your whole life" she said while caressing my face meanwhile Isa was forbidding me to jerk her hand away. So I didn't say anything to her but instead shocked

"Are you... how do you know?" I asked.

"Just leave it already, you and I are in the same position both want someone's love and both got a girl," she said while looking at Isa, who was just sitting there and looking at the kids who were enjoying themselves in the park.

I smiled at her statement and she said "My kids are too busy in their life, believe me, kid, I have everything, everything women want, but now, now all I want is love from my children. I want them to come to me and sit with me but no one is free"

I was just listening to her when Isa spoke up. "Don't you want to go home, it's already late" I looked at the time and it was already too late. I said goodbye to that aunt and left with Isa.

The next day, I received a call from Isa and she asked me to go to that aunt as she was supposed to meet her friend who is in the hospital. So I went there to the aunt instead of her, I really started liking her company, and often visited her.

At Isa's funeral, she was there but I don't know why she was hiding behind a pillar and was continuously staring at me watching me while I was crying for her, She didn't come to me either talk to me about anything.

I can guarantee she must be sad as I was, but why didn't she show up at that time, I didn't ask her too as I was not in my conscious. She didn't show up in these years recently, either.

*Door knocked*

"Sir are you still there?" Jianjian said while knocking on the door making me jump out of my thoughts, I looked at her because it was totally the different world, that I was imagining in my thoughts.

"Ah, sir, should I ask her to leave," she said still waiting for my answer. I stood up and said,

"I'm coming" while adjusting my coat. When I reached in the waiting room, she was sitting there while looking outside as she heard my footsteps she looked back at me, she hasn't changed a little bit,

Her same blue eyes were under transparent round-shaped glasses. Old fashioned knee-length frock.

She gave me a sad smile with teary eyes and I can't control myself from bursting into tears when looked at her, and found myself hugging her. After a while, she broke the hug and said one sentence only, and left, which was

"DON'T LET HER GO THAT EASILY, SHE DESERVED A BAD PUNISHMENT"
