The shocked Kaino immediately choked. He was coughing. Taera panicked. She then gave some hot tea to Kaino for him to drink. Kaino's eyes also watered from choking earlier. His throat hurt a little.

"Why are you so surprised?" Taera asked.

Wow. Even though Taera's parents knew me first. Why can't I just be recognized as Taera's boyfriend? Why Ardilo? Kaino thought regretfully.

"Kai! You've choked on why are you daydreaming?" Taera asked, confused.

"It's okay. I'm just surprised. Your parents agree that you are going out with Ardilo?" asked Kaino.

"They agree. Ardilo is kind and ideal. That's why my parents agreed. They also advised Ardilo and me about our relationship," Taera replied.

Kaino nodded. He then drank his hot tea again.

"Why don't you text me during the holidays, Kai?" Taera asked.
