Chapter 1 : Prologue

The Age of Darkness said the person who experienced the catastrophic invasion 150 years ago.

The Continent of Agros, the world where swords and magic exist, is on the verge of collapse due to the invasion by the devils. Monsters deep in the forest began to appear and attack humans. The space cracks that resulted in the formation of dungeons also spread across the Continent.

The human race, the elf race, and the dwarves race began to experience destruction. The dragons that never came out of their nests were also on the verge of extinction. The ground and rivers were covered with blood, most of the forests were burned, the mountains were ravaged by war, and the buildings and Kingdoms were in ruins.

However, at a time when all despaired and lost hope, the Knights and Magicians who teamed up with the Elves, Dwarves, and Dragons began to fight the Devils. They finally counterattacked the Devils. They also work together to create weapons and artefacts from the treasures obtained from raiding Dungeons.

After 30 years of struggle of the four races against the Devils, they finally breathed a sigh of relief because they managed to push the enemy back and made it through the dark ages to enter a new era.

Year after year, humanity begins to recover from its slump, collapsing empires start to be rebuilt, borders are established to fight monsters from time to time, and technology is created using magic stones with a fusion of science and magic.

After the disaster passed, only three kingdoms remained on the mainland of the Agros Continent. The remaining kingdoms ruled over the North, middle, and East regions. The Forlond Kingdom is in the North of the Continent, ruled by the Elves, who are in the forest. The Blacksteel Kingdom is in the East of the mountains, ruled by the Dwarves, while the Humans have the largest territory in the middle of the Continent and is called the Storm Kingdom.

In the year 120 of the Agros calendar (after passing through the dark ages, the four races agreed to start a new calendar), there was a border town called Silver Wings City in the western region of the Agros Continent. The City of Silver Wings became the border between the territory of the Human and Monster races that belonged to the Remington Family.

The Remingtons are a family of wizards who has been battling the Devil since the dark ages.

The Head of the Remington Family was a 6-circle Mage, Marquis Luke Remington, the only son of the 8-circle Archmage, Duke Gillian Remington.

Gillian Remington, nicknamed 'Sage The Spellbound, ' battles with his eight-circle magic, and his wise strategy makes for an overwhelming victory. After the war ended, Gillian Remington was awarded the title of Duke for his services and was given a fertile and vast territory by the King of the Storm Kingdom. Still, Duke Gillian refused the territory and asked to exchange it for a border region. Duke Gillian did this because Duke Gillian wanted to stay away from royal politics. Finally, the King of the Storm Kingdom accepted Duke Gillian's request and granted the western border region.

However, the Remington Family is currently called the Fallen Family. After Duke Gillian's death, the current Family Head was only a 6-circle Mage. Even Viscount Luke Remington couldn't break through the 7th Circle due to the accident that occurred while fighting against the demons.

Harvey has an older sister. Unlike Harvey, Margareth Remington is 20 years old. But her older sister was already a 4-circle Mage. Although the Remington Family declined, Margareth Remington was considered the future of the Remington Family because of her genius.

Arcane Academy was one of the prestigious academies in the Kingdom of Storms and the place where Harvey studied magic. The Arcane Academy is exclusively for magic students. As for the Knights, the Knights also had their Academy in the Capital of the Storm Kingdom.

It was Harvey who had hopes of making progress when he first entered the Academy, but in reality, it was in vain. Harvey couldn't make his 2nd circle after five years of entering the Academy. Mana is a source of energy that can be found naturally in the world and acts as a source of power for magicians to cast spells. The magicians absorbed mana from nature and formed a mana circle in his heart.

As for the Knights, they use Aura by absorbing it and circulating it throughout its body to strengthen its body.
