A Dangerous Desert Indeed

After Xavier's attack took out one of the centipedes the rest of them shifted their attention to him leaving the old man on the floor. But they didn't choose to charge at him, or rather, they did the unexpectable, rather than attacking they dug into the floor like a drill, hiding under the surface digging through the sand.

Xavier watching this became quite confused, he knew they would spring out to attack him at the right moment but he did not know their valid location. He began to hesitantly look around trying to spot their exact location," Where are they?"

The wrinkled grey old man then answered Xavier's question, pinpointing something Xavier accidentally overlooked, he then pointed at the sand," Look at the sand!"
