109 Devil of Rain
A long time had passed in the temple as Lucas and Lucifer recovered. Drrak did as Killheart asked in the meantime to prepare for his recovery. In the temple, there were 2 elemental zones near Lucas it was of Ice and Fire with a rotating green life energy, intense electrical fluctuations, and undying sword intent.
Near Lucifer, there was darkness domain created from shadows, with the twinkling of stars, and the howls of unending devils. Along with a touch of death aura, nomological runes rotated around in the domain.
The cocoons around them consumed the energies quickly. Then all of sudden the cocoons shattered out of it, Lucas and Lucifer emerged.
Both of them recovered and their auras deepened. Around Lucas was a green aura of life. Around Lucifer was a strange touch of death aura. Both of their originally teenage bodies had fully grown quite a lot, they had aged a few years and looked like 21-year-old young men.
"How were your insights?" Lucas asked as he looked at Lucifer's decaying death aura. Lucifer's eyes shined with strange nomological runes that held the prestige of the universe.
His black hair had grown and flowed down his body like a black waterfall. Around him, space would automatically bend away, as if it was afraid to approach his powerful aura. Each step would make the ground itself shrivel and wither away.
"Remmie had some interesting ideas for a death domain. Using that death qi we consumed from Dante, my insights were accelerated." Lucifer said as he cracked his fists releasing a demonic crying face with his aura.
"How about you?" Lucifer said as he stared at the green energy around Lucas. Lucas had a similar prestige but it wasn't from runes, his demeanor was godly and the moment he stepped on the ground life started to come about.
Plants quickly recovered and increased in size. Each of his steps seemed to alter the very land itself, which prostrated before his prestige. His blonde hair seemed to be twinged with green on the end, making him look angelic.
"The 5 elements, infinity, and life work very well together. My sword arts and elemental prowess fused well." Lucas said as his aura of life released an elemental typhoon of fire, ice, and wood essence.
"Wind as the medium for the 5 elements impressive." Lucifer mumbled.
"The stars as your power" Lucas responded back with a chuckle.
"Imagine our strength when we fuse...." Lucifer couldn't help but say with longing.
"Though we would last longer fused, the consequences aren't worth the risk." Lucas intoned with cold precision.
"Che, I can dream can't I?" Lucifer mumbled as he looked at Drrak in the sky. His dragon form flew down as he settled on the ground looking at Lucifer.
"This is still rather strange for me...." Drrak said as he looked at Lucifer and Lucas.
"Its weird for us as well, just tell us what you figured out." Lucas and Lucifer said in unison.
"Weird...Anyway the portal works and it does indeed lead to the Elven island." Drrak said as Lucas' eyes brightened, he was after all an elf physically.
"But it doesn't allow passage easily, and Lucifer will be unable to enter." Drrak said as he gauged Lucifer's response.
"That's no problem, his highness has other intentions for me." Lucifer said with a mysterious smirk.
"I won't even bother to ask." Drrak said with an exhausted sigh.
"Alright since the portal works, then it is best we go with his Highness' first plan." Lucas said also strangely smirking.
Even Drrak couldn't help but be stunned by Lucas' smirk. He was the stoic, the rationalist; to move Lucas emotionally plan must be rather terrifying.
"Reverting back to such an age, won't you feel humiliated?" Lucifer said jokingly.
"I am not as emotional as you, I'll be fine." Lucas curtly responded.
"It'll be strange without you to debate with." Lucifer said in a serious voice.
"Those weren't debates, it was advising." Lucas said equally serious.
"Yeah, yeah just get on with it." Lucifer laughed as his eyes flashed became glowing violet, and Lucas responded, in turn, his eyes becoming violet. Lucas' body seemed to decrease, even his white robes followed becoming smaller. Until Lucas was just a small little baby.
"Heh how cute you are, brother." Lucifer laughed as he grabbed Lucas, he could feel Lucas bombard him with telepathic slurs.
"Drrak, who do you want to go with?" Lucifer asked as he looked to Drrak with a smirk.
"For safety's sake, I should probably follow Lucas." Drrak said as his dragon form decreased in size, and he flew into Lucas's shadow
"Till we meet again, brother." Lucifer mumbled as he moved instantly in front of the portal in the center of the temple.
"The world will be ours!" Lucifer laughed as he took a basket out of his bag of holding, he put Lucas in it and stepped into the portal.
In a single moment, they passed through the void without resistance and appeared over a massive island republic. Around the republic seemed to be some kind of magical restriction.
An eye opened on Lucifer's forehead, it was the eye of chaos! It felt much more powerful than before, but nothing compared to Lucifer's complete eye of chaos. The eye quickly analyzed the magic restriction.
"Interesting, a racial restriction that analyzes magical and physical characteristics." He smirked as he tapped on the restriction. It sent a sharp blast of energy into his finger, Lucifer quickly neutralized the magic.
"Very impressive, but this isn't enough to stop me." Lucifer said as a flurry of runes appeared around him. It was like a maelstrom of various archaic magical runes.
The runes imprinted on the shield and the shield responded with jolts of magic power. The runes absorbed the energy and soon restructured the shield.
"Recombine!" Lucifer yelled out as the nomological runes re-fused creating another restriction. The magical restriction seemed to shake and open slightly, Lucifer sent Lucas in quickly and sealed the restriction.
"Decomposition Ciphers are rather interesting, it has significantly boosted my magical control." Before he became an Arcanist he already had designed hundreds of different types of spell circles and restrictions. Summoning, transmission, restrictions, magical acceleration, magical vessels and many more.
He combined the nomological runes that came with the power of devouring with his Decomposition Ciphers. He no longer needed materials to cast his restrictions, Instead, he just used the runes and his magical power.
"That devil though, what does he plan?" He remembered the Astral devil he traded with for Remmie's true soul. Before he opened the Abyss gate, he got the coordinates from Drrak.
Then he met an Astral devil that he traded with, he made a deal to let him get 50% of Asmodeus' divine essence. He also gets the void energy that the Abyss will grant as a reward.
"Regardless of his plans, even Asmodeus failed. What of him in comparison?" Lucifer chuckled as he flew away from the island, around him space fluctuated as he disappeared.
He moved thousands of meters per second appearing and reappearing. He quickly trekked across the ocean, He was intent on reaching the beast realm. As Lucifer journeyed on the way, various sea beasts would fly out of the ocean. Though they had immense size, compared to his power he could kill them in moments.
A few days passed and as Lucifer was passing a strange island, he could see thunderclouds gathering in the sky. He had moved a major distance from the elven island and was at the halfway point between the beast realm and the human continent.
Lucifer kept moving when the thundercloud seemed to expand and roar. A massive lightning bolt came hurtling at him out of nowhere.
"Hmm?" Lucifer raised his palm and released a huge beam of condensed energy, the lightning bolt met the darkness beam as a huge clash of energies dispersed the thunderclouds. The energy created a massive sonic boom and then it faded away without a clear winner.
From the thunderclouds came a strange old man, his whole body drenched in water. Along it was electrical sparks, and his aura rivaled Asmodeus when he was weakened.
"Darkness Elemental body...." He mumbled under his breath
"You must be the Devil of Rain, such immense power at such a young age." The old man laughed uproariously
"Your aura. it reminds me of Sarah." Lucifer laughed as he stared down at the old man.
"That isn't surprising after all, I am the holy father of Blood Drop Origin." The old man smirked arrogantly
"You though, I heard you have a clone. I wonder where he is right now." The old man asked as his aura expanded and steam seemed to come from his body
"Stop the posturing, old man. We both know that isn't your true body. Unless you cut off your life aura, you can't send an avatar that can stop me." Lucifer laughed as he released a devilish power from my body.
Behind Lucifer appeared a shadow devil with 8 blue lines, and one red line at the center. It's two red horns augmented it's crying face creating a terrifying visage. Lucifer had fused the insights he took from Tiberius into his shadow devil giving it the powers of death.
"That art...Tiberius?" The old man mumbled
"Let us see if you can stop me!" Lucifer roared as the shadow devil punched out with a demonic head on his fist.
Its crying face was augmented with death power. Holy father assembled the steam around him into a gigantic foggy fist. The two attacks met in the air, and the demonic head bit apart from the foggy fist.
"Again!" Marcellinus yelled out
He assembled all his fog energy and started sending a barrage of foggy fists. Lucifer released more death Qi and the demonic head expanded. It flew at the fog fists ramming through them at flying at the Holy Father.
"Truly impressive I can barely believe you are a junior, but such power isn't enough." Holy Father sighed as he clenched his fist, the thunder clouds returned with an even greater fury. It was as though the heavens themselves were roaring.
Massive amounts of electrical energy flew around just the sparks incinerated the demon's head. Lucifer quickly withdrew the death qi and smiled as he saw Holy Father raise his palm towards the clouds.
"This is a punishment from Mother Juphine, as she is your creator; may she cleanse your wretched soul." The Holy Father sneered as he lowered his hand and pointed at Lucifer. The sky seemed to be a lit in an instant as a massive current of magical energy flew down in the form of a thunder qilin.
Its terrifying horn directed the massive current at Lucifer at extremely fast speeds, but with his cognition, it was extremely slow.
"What a path, sadly my clone isn't here...." Lucifer mumbled as nomological runes flashed around him.
"Bloodline Genesis!" He yelled out as the runes flew into his body, as the touched his skin he started to transform. The runes made his skin black and scaly but extremely mysterious. His back seemed to open up as two black wings appeared. Then the shadow devil fused into the wings, making him look like devilish dragon blessed by a primordial force.
A black aura of decay and devilishness came from his scaly body, and his eye of chaos opened in its entirety. At his side, the void sword roared as it unsheathed itself. He grappled it with immense strength as it flashed with profound nomological runes.
"Devour!" His body ascended to the skies like a dragon with a massive black blade beam rotating around him. He met the thunder qilin head on, as dissected it with a single swift motion.
The thunderclouds and the qilin were completely obliterated, the sword beam with Lucifer went on and seemed to even bend space in the sky. It kept going until it hit the Holy Father, who looked utterly shocked as the beam cut him apart in moments.
It kept going until it fully detonated in the sky with a massive black singularity. When the energy dispersed, Lucifer appeared near the small island. He was kneeling on the ground and taking deep breathes with his saber stabbed on the ground.
The scales along his body were completely shattered in some places, and there were sections of his body with electricity still circulating. His wings were completely cut apart, his dragon form quickly fell apart as the runes departed from his body.
They circulated around him devouring everything in the vicinity of the island. The ground, the air, and even the plants and wildlife. Soon the island was almost completely destroyed leaving a black desolate wasteland. Lucifer's body seemed to recover as he stood up and sheathed the void sword.
"That last attack...." In the middle of the sword beam, the qilin forced through and landed on Lucifer's body causing significant damage.
"But with my devouring power, that isn't too bad." Lucifer chuckled as he quickly departed from the island, he needed to move faster; they must have a way of tracking him.
