Moments later, Silver and Lucy stay within the rundown shack that Silver now lives in. Inside of the shack consists of a rickety chair, and desk infront of it. Along with a bed that's merely a mat on the hard wood floors. "Like I said. I haven't been telling you the entire truth about Jinx." Lucy says while she sits down on the floor and looks up at Silver who's sitting in the chair. "After you left, four years ago, she really snapped.." Lucy confesses, as she slowly beings to reminisce on her past with Jinx, after Silco adopted her.
During the first two years, Jinx began to change. The good hearted person that Lucy grew up with, had slowly started to fade away. Even the bright blue eyes that Jinx use to have, started to dim. She started to become more immoral within those two years, all while Lucy and Silver didn't do much at all.
Silver also changed within that time. He became more quiet, and it looked as if he was always thinking. Though Lucy remembers how Jinx would look to Silver when she would decide to do something that seemed immoral. Unfortunately, Silver never gave her an answer, he rarely batted her an eye. So by the end of the second year, Jinx became more angry. Screaming more often, breaking things, and hitting herself. Sometimes to the point where she would leave her own strands of blue hair on the ground.
"And that's when you left, after two years.." Lucy explains, while looking towards Silvers direction with sympathetic eyes. She then continues to tell Silver of all that's happened with Jinx and herself.
After Silver left, things became even worst. Take everything negative with Jinx, and multiply it times ten. That's when she started to become more chaotic. She started seeing things more often, and talking to the voices in her head, that didn't seem to ever permanently leave. Lucy would do all that she could. Stopping Jinx from hitting herself, or giving her some source of guidance. Though Jinx would push every idea or thought process that Lucy had out of the window. And for the next four years, Silco corrupted Jinx. The Powder that Silver once knew, is gone. Now a days, she's just a vessel. What's inside of that vessel is much different. Finds happiness in causing chaos, destroying, killing. The only thing that remains of her, is her blue hair, and the desire to help.
Once Lucy finishes explaining what's happened so far to Silver, the two remain in the room in silence. Silver moves his hands on the desk to lean against, while Lucy looks up at Silver with saddened eyes. "In the end, I couldn't help her. I also couldn't help you..but, maybe you can.." Lucy says, and Silver finally turns to look at her with wide eyes. "Silco has brainwashed her. Don't you remember? As kids, Vi told us that Silco kidnapped Vander and killed those enforcers. But he got into her head and manipulated her so much, he made her believe that it was justified. If I'm being honest, I don't believe Jinxs invention killed Vander. I think it was Silco all along."
Silver continues to stare at Lucy with those wide eyes. Because of this, Lucy is immediately shocked at the expression that Silver gives her. "Even if that's true, what can we do? It's too late..She's a danger to you. Eventually she will hurt you, maybe even kill you. You should leave her while you can. Just like I did." Silver responds to Lucy.
Lucy begins to frown, before standing up and staring at Silver with angered eyes. "I can't just leave her. That would make everything worse in her head. Maybe you should talk to her. Or atleast give her a reason why you left. As far as she's concerned you're worst that Vi.." The angered expression of Lucy, slowly starts to alter to a more saddened one. "And I think I understand where she's coming from..I mean, you were there for her when we were kids. Sticking up for her, and encouraging her..all of that just to leave. Even I don't know why you did." Lucy explains to Silver, while Silver stared down at the desk that he's leaning against.
" Talk to her..?" Silver questions with a raised eyebrow. Lucy looks at him with confusion, as she doesn't understand where his confusion is coming from. "You say she's not the same Powder that we once knew. If she's truly gone, then there's no bringing her back.." Silver says, while looking at Lucy with determination in his eyes.
Lucy shakes her head in disappointment. "Well maybe you're also not the same Silver.." Lucy leaves Silver with that statement, as she walks towards the door, and leaves. Silver watches her walk out with eyes that show he's in deep thought.
In the darkness, just around the door of the shack, Silco was listening in on their conversation the entire time. He was even recording it. He watches Lucy walk off with a deep glare.
About an hour later, Silco and Jinx are both in his office. Jinx is sitting on top of his desk with a guilty expression, as she wraps her arms around herself. Silco sits in his chair calmly. "So, tell me what happened in the operation today." Silco says.
"I screwed up, that's what happened." Jinx responds to Silco with an annoyed tone. "I started thinking about stuff in the past..you told me that Vi is dead, right?" Jinx asks Silco, as she leans up slightly, and stares in his eyes while awaiting for an answer.
Silco stares back at her for a second, before nodding his head. "I hate to say it, but you have to move on. I'm depending on you." Silco says to Jinx, and those last words make her eyes light up a bit.
"You are?" Questions Jinx. "Most definitely." Silco responds.
"Can I count on you?" Silco asks Jinx.
"Ofcourse you can." Jinx says in response.
"Good..now go attend to your gadgets. Take the time off." Silco says to Jinx, making her obviously annoyed and frustrated.
"I don't need that..I can help-" Jinx says to Silco, before she quickly starts to see things once again. Her eyes widen as she stares at Silco, who she sees as her dead sister Vi. "I can.." Jinx mumbles to herself, as she stares downwards with her fingers up to her lips.
"Take the time off anyway.." Silco demands, which snaps Jinx out of her hallucinations. She sees Silco for who he is, and not Vi. She stares at Silco for a few seconds, before frowning and jumping off of his desk. She proceeds to walk out of his office with A smile.
"We'll see.." Jinx says to herself.
Moments later, Jinx goes inside of her hideout. Within her hide out, there are mannequins held up with metal that resemble Mylo and Claggor. There are also dolls that hang from another turn vine above. It causes a creaking noise. "I can't stand it!" Jinx yells as she kicks down and tosses one of her explosive devices down into the abyss of darkness. The explosion causes bats to fly up from the abyss
"I get it okay? I just got confused..that wasn't Vi." Jinx says to the dolls of Mylo and Claggor, before her head begins to go from place to place in a psycho matter. "Ohh but Sevika is just the perfect person huh? She'll clean it all up huh?!"
"I'm not weak Im not a jinx!-" jinx suddenly pauses once she screeches those words to herself. Moments after, she smacks herself over the head. "He thinks I'm weak..he does.." Jinx says to herself, and immediately the voices of Mylo adds onto it by whispering to her that she is weak. "Im not!" Jinx yells once more as she clanks together two devices of hers.
With the voices still mumbling and whispering to her, she lays down and continues staring at her metal devices. "Oh I'm gonna show him..im gonna show all of them." Jinx begins to smile with her shaky tone, before quickly jolting up from her laying position.
Only minutes later, She's blasting loud music, while singing along to it, and making a bunch more gadgets. She even takes the time to splash some of the green and neon paint onto it. With wide eyes, and deep focus, she begins to smile once her devices are complete. "I'll show them..I'll show them what I can do!" Jinx screams out loud as she pulls her goggles off, and throws some of her devices around to see if they work.
Multiple explosions take place from her devices, and she swings from a pole in celebration of them working. "Oohh I can't wait!" With a shaky voice filled with excitement, Jinx smiles widely, despite the bombs going off closely to her.
