Overtime the underground formed a rebellion and started fighting for freedom against the upside piltover city. will this conflict resolve? Or will it lead to more devastation? (Yes this is a fanfic, the characters are not mines and this was heavily inspired by the show arcane on Netflix. Part 21 - Window To The Soul

Now that Silver has finished putting his bandanna on, the two stand facing eachother. While they stare at each other, it slowly begins to rain from the grey clouds that hover above their heads. "Silver..? No, you died.." It becomes clear through Jinxs words, that she's feeling a mix of emotions. Sadness, confusion, and mainly denial.

Silver stares ahead at Jinx. Despite the punch that he attacked her with, the expressions on his face doesn't resemble one of a person who wants to inflict harm. "Lucy told me that I should try to talk to you. But after seeing who you are now, and hearing the things you did, I know I can't. You're too far gone. So I'm gonna stop you." Silver says to Jinx. Jinx immediately chuckles after Silvers words, and let's out a sigh right after.

"It's not like you ever tried though right? You just skipped along and went to live your life in a dump. Boo hoo Silver." Jinx responds, with obvious built up anger in her words. She then looks down at her gun, and smirks with a deep stare at it. "But I guess you're right about one thing." She looks up at Silver with the same deep stare. "This is who I am now."

"Before I do this, you should know that Mylo survived the explosion six years ago.." Once Silver confesses, Jinxs eyes immediately widen as voices of Mylo begin to enter her head.

"No..you're lying.." Jinx mumbles to herself, as she relives the explosion that she caused six years ago. Along with Claggors bloody goggles, and the blazing fire.

However, Silver doesn't even give a Jinx a chance to respond, as she instantly charges towards her afterwards. Jinx charges in response, while it begins to rain harder down on them.

Silver sends another punch in Jinxs direction, though she manages to block it with her arm. After the block, she jumps up with an attempt to kick Silver in his head, though he quickly grabs her leg, and tosses her to the side.

Jinx rolls down on the wet stone platform, though she quickly regains her balance. The two then stare at eachother once more. It becomes obvious that this fight is hard for the both of them. With Silver having infinite guilt in his eyes, and Jinx feeling angered and betrayed. "Typical Silver. Looking at me with the exact same look that you left me with. Over some old lady who was gonna die anyways? How noble of you." Jinx taunts Silver, while the two circle around eachother. Her voice is trembling, as if she's holding in a lot of emotion.

Silver then looks towards Lucy, who's still unconscious. He realizes that he's gonna have to finish this fight up really soon. "Jinx." Silver says to Jinx, and he instantly remembers the day that he left Powder.

"Powder, why?" Young Silver asks young Powder, as it begins to rain upon the two. Young Lucy watches the two from beside them, with a worried expression.

"We need money okay?! Why do you look at me that way?!" Powder exclaims to Silver. Silvers expression quickly changes to one more hopeless and disappointed.

"This isn't what Vi would want..she didn't teach us to kill to take the things we need." Silver argues. Once he does, Powders expression slowly grows more angered as tears begin to come down her face.

"Powder.." Lucy calls out to powder, while she watches the interaction between the two go down.

"You're gonna leave just like Vi aren't you?" Powder asks, as she moves in closer to Silver. Her bright blue eyes are slowly but surely starting to dim, as her current deep stare is beginning to form. "Aren't you?!" She questions once more in a louder screeching tone.

"You asked me if I was going to leave." Current Silver accuses Jinx. "What did you expect me to do?" Silver questions while looking at Jinx. The two stop circling around eachorher, and instead they stand still.

"You weren't supposed to leave!" Powder screams with a bit less anger, and more sadness in her voice. Silver instantly envisions Jinx in front of him alternating between the girl she is now, and the girl that he once knew.

Silver lowers his guard as a result. And now seeing Jinx for who she is, the two stand while looking at eachother. Jinx has a more saddened look. The water from the rain makes it hard to tell if the water coming from her eyes are tears, or just the rain. "You were supposed to do what you always did." Jinx says in a more saddened, and vulnerable way, while looking around on the ground.

Silver stares at Jinx. Fighting internally, Silver squints his eyes shut. He proceeds to take a deep breath, while Powder watches him with a face that slowly grows angrier. "But that's not you anymore. We both changed." Jinx acknowledges, as she stops looking around the ground, and looks at Silver instead.

After taking the deep breath, he opens his eyes. His eyes are no longer soft like they just were. They're more aggressive and ready. As a result, he sprints towards Jinx , who now puts her guard up once again.

Jinxs saddened expression also evaporates completely, as she clenches her fist, and tries to punch Silver. Before she could land a hit, silver grabs her wrist, and twists it extremely hard. "Ahh!" Jinx screams from the pain with clenched eyes and teeth.

Before she could retaliate her wrist being twisted, Silver gives her a liver punch, then head butts her. She continues to grunt in pain, as she falls down on the wet ground.

Silver stares down at Jinx with a guilty expression. Though he quickly shakes it away, as Jinx desperately tries to crawl back while holding onto her wrist in hissing pain.

Silver proceeds to sit on top of her. Jinx holds out her hand desperately to stop him. Her angered and aggressive face begins to fade into a scared and saddened one, as silver reaches his fist back.

After reaching his fist back, he continues punching her in the face over and over again. It proves difficult for Silver to do, as he feels like he's punching a girl that he used to love. Despite his mind playing tricks on him by showing Jinx as the young Powder, he continues punching her, in an attempt to get rid of her once and for all. Just as he did with the punching bag earlier.

With relentless punches being sent her way, Jinx presses her other hand against Silvers face in an attempt to stop him, he grips that wrist of hers, and twists it as well. Making her let out a painful screech.

Once he knocks her other hand away, he uses his knee to put pressure on it. After punching her a few more times in the face, her nose begins to bleed. "No.." Jinx mumbles, though it's hard to get out clearly thanks to the rain and blood that's starting to flood over her mouth.

Silver swiftly pulls out the knife from his pocket, and reaches it upward, as if he's going to slam it down into her. While breathing heavily, with extremely clenched teeth, Silver pauses.

Once he pauses, his grip on the knife grows weaker. The teeth that he kept so tightly clenched, begins to weaken as well. This all occurs because he stares down at Jinx. In this moment, Silver stops seeing Jinx and Powder as two separate people, from two different times. Instead, he sees Powder in the girl who's laying down right below him.

He lowers his arms down slightly, as he continues staring at Jinx. A more guilty and sad expression takes shape over his face. While she stares up at him with a completely different look. No anger or sadness, but almost acceptance. With a look of acceptance, Powder closes her eyes, as if she's accepting death at the hands of Silver.

Once she closes her eyes, Silver lowers the knife in his hand even more. He also removes his knee from her twisted wrist. "Powder.." Silver mumbles, as Powder slowly opens her eyes, and starts to look at him with surprise.

"Silver don't.." Lucy says from far behind Silver. Her words are slightly mumbled and hard to understand since she just woke up from being unconscious. "Talk to her." Lucy advises.

Hearing those words cause Silver to grow a more fearful expression. "Do it." Silver remembers when he encouraged Powder six years ago. And he instantly remembers what happened when he did.

Suddenly, Silver puts the knife away, and stands up. He stares down at Powder for a bit with conflicted eyes, before running towards Lucy. "We have to go.." Silver says, as he picks Lucy up, and carries her on his back.

"What about Po- Jinx." Lucy acknowledges, while Silver runs down the stairs, and away from Jinx. Without giving Lucy a single answer, he leaves Jinx on that platform alone.

Jinx slowly sits up, while slightly hissing in pain as she does. "He left you alone, after being so close to killing you." "Silco lied to you..Vi isn't dead." "Where's the gemstone?" Jinx suddenly checks her pockets for the gemstone, thanks to Mylo now haunting her thoughts once again.

Jinx grows extremely anxious and worried when she can't feel the gemstone anymore. Whats more, the anger returns back to her. "Vi didn't come back for you. She came for the gemstone."

"No..No no no no.." Jinx covers her hands over her ears, while she sits up, and starts rocking back and forth. She begins to question everything that's just happened. Why Silver stopped when he could've killed her. Why Vi was with an enforcer. Why the firelights came. And so many more.

With so many thoughts making Jinx lose even more of her sanity, Silco and a few of his guards walk up to Jinx. Jinx begins to lower her hands from her ears once she notices someone walking towards her.

When she sees Silco, she quickly jumps up and stares at him with the intent to harm. "You told me Vi was gone." Jinx accuses, while Silco looks down at her. "It was Marcus who took her wasn't it? She told me a stupid topsider arrested her. It was Marcus wasn't it? And what about Lucy? Did you reallyyy show me the whole recording?" With so many questions, all of it goes unanswered by Silco. All he does is stare at her with guilt.

Jinx grows more filled with rage, thanks to no answer by Silco. Despite that rage, she doesn't attack him. All she does, is brushes past him, and he watches her walk away. "Fine, I won't trust any of you. I'll be great on my own, and every single one of you will feel sooo much worst than I ever have. I'll make sure of that." Jinx promises, as she walks away with eyes that no longer seem blue at all. As if she's truly descended into the madness that resides within her.
