Liu Bo's decision to arrange their meeting in Talis was far from simple. Gaining entry to the legendary city was merely the beginning; every family there had only been granted an opportunity to participate in the struggle for power and influence within the city. A long road lay ahead if they hoped for their voices to be heard among Najin's highest echelons.

New clans that successfully entered Talis would face discrimination and ambushes for several years. Although established families also engaged in similar skirmishes, they occurred in secret, not affecting their reputation.
