Battle II

Yuan encouraged his steed onward, their speed rapidly increasing as they darted towards the distant temple. The uneven rhythm of the hooves striking the earth echoed around, making hearts pound in anticipation. 

A local man, taken aback by the uproar, cautiously peeked through his window blinds. He was taken aback by the spectacle, quickly muffling his gasp of surprise. In haste, he secured his windows and collapsed onto the floor, too unnerved to rise. 

The ground trembled as two Gorgans thundered forward, creating a wake behind the advancing army. Silhouettes slipped between the buildings lining the roadway, nine Sentinels maneuvering around the outskirts with surprising agility, hopping across rooftops and skulking in shadowed alleyways.
