229 -224- Powder

"Mmm, is it morning already?"

Taliyah woke up groggily from her slumber, rubbing her eyes and letting out a big yawn.

Sitting up in bed, Taliyah, who was absent-minded, was a stark contrast to the fierce and sharp Rock Sparrow from the previous night, now turned into a dazed Sparrow again.

The room was dimly lit, and while Zaun had its perks, the one thing Taliyah didn't like was the lack of sunlight. Only one or two hours of sunlight would shine into Zaun at noon, which Taliyah, born in Shurima and accustomed to basking in sunlight year-round, found hard to accept.

But compared to the absence of sunlight, the soft, clean, non-damp bedding, the cushy mattress, the warmth of the cozy room devoid of sandstorms and unexpected dangers, and the air freshener in the room—a small piece of chemically processed product—all made Taliyah happy.

Days in Zaun were like being born in heaven, much better than Noxus.

And the habits developed during her time with Master Linwin in these days made Taliyah now accustomed to waking up automatically before seven in the morning.

She needed breakfast!

Thinking of the fragrant wheat bread, spicy and sour noodle soup, sweet juice, and milk, Taliyah immediately perked up.

Kai'Sa culinary skills were excellent, better than her Aunt back in her tribe.

Rubbing her head, Taliyah got out of bed.

First, she took her toiletries, and before going to wash up, the little sparrow glanced at herself in the mirror.

Her brown hair was messy, and there were large imprints on her face.

"Is my bedhead really that bad?"

Muttering softly, Taliyah pushed open the door.

As she stepped out of the room, Taliyah first greeted Zoran, who was sitting at the dining table.

"Good morning sir!"

Old Zoran nodded with a smile, "Come and eat, Kai'Sa has already prepared it."

However, Taliyah shook her head, "No, I need to freshen up first, I haven't brushed my teeth yet."

Under Master Linwin's guidance, Taliyah, who used to dislike cleaning her teeth, had now turned it into a comfortable daily routine. The soft brush and cool toothpaste made Taliyah reluctant to let go.

She even thought about bringing these things back to Shurima. Compared to burnt wood charcoal and finger rubbing, toothbrushes would surely sell well!

Holding her pink toothbrush, Taliyah headed to the bathroom.

Passing through the kitchen, Taliyah habitually greeted, "What are we having for breakfast today? After breakfast, I'm going to practice stone rolling techniques on the mountain. It's like turning the land into rolling waves, Master says it can give me high-speed movement abilities, but I always feel it's too dangerous."

The chattering little sparrow didn't really expect a reply from Kai'Sa. Generally, Kai'Sa would just say, "Oh, hmm, I see."

Using these three sentences to brush off Taliyah.

But Taliyah knew that Kai'Sa was just cold on the surface, her heart was as fiery as the sun in Shurima.

"Master says my ability is my wings, when I embrace it, I will become unstoppable."

Taliyah grumbled, "But where are my wings? I can only throw small stones at people."

"I think your master meant..." Kai'Sa said as she put down the fruit she was about to wash, shook off the water on her hands, and turned to look at Taliyah.

What she saw was a surprised Taliyah.

"!"

And also, an astonished Zoran who stood up to look over.

"Huh, are you acting a bit strange today?"

Kai'Sa: "."

"What's strange about me?" Hurriedly turning around, Kai'Sa grabbed the fruit, "Hurry up and wash up, it's time for breakfast."

Taliyah obediently nodded, but she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off, yet she couldn't pinpoint what the problem was.

And Old Zoran, watching Kai'Sa's back, smiled knowingly.

He had been waiting for this day for a long, long time.

Do I finally have hope of holding a grandson?!

When Taliyah finished fixing her hair, Linwin happened to come out of his room.

"Um, good morning, Master!"

The energetic little sparrow waved her hand and greeted Linwin.

"Good morning, Taliyah." Linwin nodded with a smile, then turned to Zoran at the dining table, "Good morning, old man."

Finally, amidst Zoran's grumbling, Linwin walked into the kitchen.

At the sink, Kai'Sa was nervously washing fruit. Hearing footsteps behind her, familiar footsteps, Kai'Sa's body stiffened.

"Good morning, Kai'Sa."

Linwin reached out and patted Kai'Sa's shoulder, smiling.

Taliyah stood by the bathroom door, blankly wiping her cheeks with a towel, looking at Linwin's face, "Master, Master."

"What's wrong, Taliyah?"

"You're smiling so..." Taliyah wanted to say disgustingly, but then felt it was super impolite, so she covered her mouth.

"What's wrong with my smile?" Linwin asked the little sparrow, wrapping his arm around Kai'Sa's shoulder.

Taliyah shook her head repeatedly while covering her mouth.

"Go away." Kai'Sa nudged Linwin's waist with her elbow, speaking softly.

"Oh, okay." Linwin withdrew his hand.

But after a moment's thought, Linwin embraced Kai'Sa again.

They almost kissed last night!

What's wrong with a little hug now?!

To be honest, Linwin now wanted the whole world to know that he liked Kai'Sa.

He wanted to show off this fact to the world.

Old Zoran watched this scene, smiling even more happily.

With age comes wisdom, and Old Zoran had already figured it out. These two had finally taken this step.

But at the same time, Old Zoran thought of something else.

After that blue-haired girl finds out about this, will Linwin have a good time?

That girl isn't easy to deal with. It's strange if she doesn't make trouble.

But knowing Linwin, Old Zoran nodded cheerfully.

Polygamy wasn't strange in Zaun.

But the people of Piltover seem to care a lot about this.

But Linwin is a Zaunite.

But ultimately, it's Linwin's business.

With that in mind, Old Zoran looked towards the kitchen.

"What are you up to?"

Kai'Sa looked up, squinting at Linwin.

"I just want to hug you," Linwin said honestly.

"Get lost, I'm cooking," Kai'Sa said, lowering her head.

"I'll help."

"No need, I can manage on my own." Kai'Sa skillfully cut the fruit with a knife, then put it on a porcelain plate, saying, "That's how it's always been, isn't it? You never thought of helping me before."

"But things are different now." Linwin wrapped his arm around Kai'Sa, patting his chest with his left hand, and said in an assertive tone, "We are now....."

Kai'Sa said impatiently, "Get lost!"

"Oh, okay, okay."

Hurriedly moving to the table, Linwin and Old Zoran sat face to face.

"So you've done it?" Old Zoran asked with a smile.

"Of course." Linwin nodded happily.

Old Zoran "Hmm"ed, then whispered, "And what about Powder?"

Linwin immediately felt a headache looking at Old Zoran:

Bringing up another topic while ignoring the previous one.

In the kitchen, Kai'Sa's ears twitched. She was momentarily surprised, then quickly smiled and shook her head, then continued to handle the food in her hands.

Powder, huh?

Anyone can see the girl's affection for Linwin.

She never cares about how others perceive her.

Her eyes are full of love and admiration for Linwin.

With that in mind, Kai'Sa suddenly shivered.

Powder wouldn't use rockets to attack her, right?

It can't be, it can't be!

The blue-haired powder is going to turn into a green-haired powder.

////I think in Chinese, green over the head or green hat means getting NTR'ed.... Probably////
