mountain of suck

Grunt exhaled and appeared at the door that Fiona was caged. Her Shadow said, "Are you really sure you want to do this? I have enough self awareness to know it's a bad idea." She had emphasized the really and bad in her statement trying to deter her.

Grunt said, "I am the one who writes your story...your fate. I have to make it up to both of you and make you whole. I had thought of making it to where you meet him again...but, that won't help fix things. Besides, I will return to my actual body after this, I hope." She then gave a breath,, 'This will be a mountain of suck,' then walked into the room in an arrogant posture.

Sophia led the others to where Hiemdal was. It took awhile and a lot of sneaking. Logan said, "Huh, Grunt was right, he doesn't look like a nord. Smells like iron and gold..."

Zaraki said, "I swear you're like a dog. His smell isn't important, he's a warrior...and more likely to give me a good fight."

Sophia who had been looking at locked message, raised her head, "Zaraki, we're here to get him to talk to Fiona. Grunt also said that if we kill him, bad things will happen to his real world counterpart. She strictly stated that we can't kill the ones who look like normal people cause, we can screw up the timeline and said person's psyche. When we get back home, you can go to the black market and choose a good target for you or help us mess with Danzo."

Zaraki said, "Let me kill that annoying worm. I have long hated that bastard." He didn't like that guy constantly having his men watch them. It was annoying like, a fly constantly buzzing around his head.

Byakuya said, "Our job is protect and bring the dead to Soul Society; not mess with the living world. You should know this by now."

Zaraki said, "You didn't have to deal with that fly as much as I did. I had to care for our highness and deal with that guy wanting to kidnap her to either use me or bring her into his little cult."

Byakuya froze and said, "Your highness, I think what he says has merit for once. We should punish Danzo for his misdeeds."

Sophia said, "We will, I was trying to set it up before we came to this universe. Why do you think I acted all innocent and said that I saw malicious spirits around his place? Even having you say that stuff about hollows loving to eat sinful souls." The two nodded understanding what she meant.

Victor asked, "Who is that guy?" the other two were clueless as to who that guy was. He could tell that it was someone that was annoying to deal with.

Sophia said, "A guy that is called the darkness of Konoha. He hides in the dark and does things that he believes is good for the hidden village and having himself be Hokage or the leader of the place. He has done a lot of bad things to the villagers to gain power. Trying to exterminate the founding or major clans, experimenting on kids; that kind of thing."

The men had a disgusted look as they heard some of what he did but, she said, "That issue will wait until, we go back and it's not exactly something you two can help with. We had to have a god open the barriers between the Garganta and this universe to get here. You guys don't have that...even then, it's dangerous as you could be thrown somewhere in time and space." She looked at Victor and Jack when she said this.

She then went close to the border and the two captains went next to her with their hands on their swords to protect her. Zaraki even licked his lips like a wolf seeing its prey.

She asked, "Are you Hiemdal? if you are, we were sent to give you something and asked to bring you somewhere to help a friend and your future student." She then asked Byakuya to put the jade box down in a couple feet before they backed off.

Hiemdal said, "Future student? I am no teacher miss." He then moved to open the box and saw an inscription on it saying that to gain spiritual wisdom one must absorb and learn the dao. He placed it on his glabella and closed his eyes before he said, "I see, we should leave if you want to save your friend from my student."

Jack said, "Why?" showing as much confusion as the others.

At the time there was a ding and a letter appeared and Sophia read it, "Because, Grunt is going to make Fiona use her as a target for her grief and hatred." They then moved to get back as fast as possible. Sophia was on Byakuya's back while, Zaraki grabbed the other two like they were dogs.

Victor asked trying to struggle, "Why are we doing this? We should be going back not humiliating us by doing this."

Sophia said, "We are, Shunpo is faster than running."

Jack asked, "Then why are you riding piggyback if you can do it?"

Sophia said with an embarrassed smile, "I just started learning the skills from Byakuya and Urahara so, I'm still at beginner level with everything...the only lessons that took was never have Zaraki teach you anything and definitely not let him lead the way because all his talent and sense of direction went into swordsmanship."

Byakuya seemed to stand taller as he heard her praise and said, "It's an honor to teach you, your higness."

Zaraki grimaced before following them, "My sense of direction isn't that bad."

Sophia said, "I told you to go north and follow the direction the moss was pointing and you went the opposite way when we were going to the land of wind to sell the land of fires excess food."

When the group rushed into the door, they saw Grunt standing with her legs being wobbly, "Is that all you got? I wrote your fate...I weaved your story, I let that Ghoul kill Leon. I made you freeze, don't tell me that you've become a weakling since, you saved the SMT world 6 times?" She had wounds all over her body and was on the brink of passing out.

Sophia said concerned, "Grunt,"

Grunt said, "Stay out of this Soph, this has nothing to do with you." She looked back at her showing that her left eye was swollen and her gums were bleeding. She thought, 'This is my cross to bare.'

One the other side, Fiona was panting and didn't have any actual wounds but, bruising. Which, showed that Grunt wasn't trying to harm her and only wanted her to release her anger and grief, "Haha, Katsuya was right; you're a weakling, not worthy of being leader of Lyon kingdom. You can't even handle killing a couple day old cub...that screwed your life over 25 years ago."

Sophia was concerned and tears wanted to well up from the corners of her eyes. Byakuya knew Grunt's choice and moved to keep her from watching.

Fiona gave one last kick to Grunt's ribs and was sent flying a few feet. She landed on her side and coughed up blood, 'Go ahead, take out all of your anger and grief on me. It's all I owe you.' She closed her eyes waiting for any other hit she would get.

Fiona finally figured out what she was doing. She said, "Get up, you can't fix what you did by just letting me kill you."

Grunt coughed, "I don't know what your talking about. I took your little brother away from you, I killed him in the worst way possible. You should hate me, you should want me dead." She thought, 'even if I gave you his reincarnation, it wouldn't help give you peace.' She coughed, 'Yup, this really is a mountain full of suck.'
