I support you son

Jeremy's dad was standing still.... he had no expression on his face.... none of them could predict what he was going to say.... seeing his face... Jeremy thought that he is still going to oppose him staying in the group.... he looked at Lucy with a sad and hopeless eyes..... seeing his face Lucy felt bad... because she gave him hope... she assured him that he was going to understand... she felt bad that it didn't happen... she thought of stepping up for him....

while Jeremy was looking down in despair.... he felt something fall on him... the disappointed atmosphere became happy but sad at the same time..... Jeremy looked up to his father.....he was shocked to see him....

his dad.... his eyes were filled with tears and they started to flow out.... Jeremy stood up in surprise.....

"dad... what happened?? dad??"

He pulled Jeremy inside him... hugging him so tightly....

"my son... oh God.... my son... when did you grow up to speak like this..."

Jeremy was starting to tear up too.... he hugged him back...

"i approve you to be here my son... if this means this much to me... i don't care how long it takes hang in there... i don't care what the society says... hang in there my son..."

"dad!!"

both of them were hugging and crying... Jeremy's mother on this side was crying in happiness too... this continued for a while.... their mother also joined them in a while....

after a while... all of them went in... Damon, Stephen and Lucy were talking with Jeremy's parents.... this time they too were talking to them.... all of them were very happy... they were talking... laughing.... making fun of each other.. getting to know each other.... they spent a marvelous night....

later Lucy was in her room... preparing to go to bed... she heard a knock on the door....

"yes come in..."

"Lucy!!" it was Jeremy

"oh! Jeremy come on in..."

Jeremy went in and both of them sat on the bed

"what is it Jeremy??"

He suddenly hugged Lucy.... she was shocked....

"thank you... thank you so much Lucy...."

now she understood.... she too hugged him back...

"if it was not for you... i...i would have lost my family.... i don't know how I would have survived without them by my side.... thanks to you I did not loose the two most precious people in my life..."

" Don't worry... you will never loose them anymore...."

"and i am sorry for speaking to you like that... i know i was rude... yet you helped me out... thank you for not giving up on me..."

"and now you owe me one"

"actually i owe you a lot.... you are not only a good singer but also a good friend to me now..... don't hesitate to come to me anytime..... and from today on all my things are yours too.... you can use them to your heart's content...."

"woww that is an amazing offer... then i won't be shy..."

"please don't be... i have to do this .... after all you saved my happiness... i ought to do this for you...."

"Now now... stop flattering me ...."

both of them were talking and laughing.....

"ahh I am sleepy now... you too should get some sleep.... i will go to my room now..."

"good night Jeremy...."

"good night..."

he turned back to go to his room.... took a few steps forward... then stopped... looked back... saw Lucy getting her bed ready.... rushed to her and gave her another tight hug....

"i will never forget this favour of yours Lucy.... thank you so much...."

Lucy pat his back...

"everything is going to be alright now..."

"mmmm..."

Jeremy left to his room and had a good sleep....

next day morning... both Jeremy's parents were preparing to leave to their home town... all the members went out to send them off...

Jeremy's mom came near Lucy

"Lucy!! thank you so much dear.... what you did yesterday... that was really great... if you hadn't been there... we might have lost our son for good.... there is no way our family would have been like this if not for you.... thank you so much dear...."

"please don't be mam.... i just did not want him to be sad because of the thing that he said out of a momentary force...."

"he is really blessed to have you with him dear... please do visit us sometime..."

"sure mam..."

both the parents of Jeremy went back... the members said their good byes and went inside....

"we sure have wasted a lot of time...."

"we have to wrap our head around it and start working hard from today.... we have so little time now..."

"i too agree... we have no time to dilly dally...."

All the members went to the practice room.... they had so less time to prepare everything..... all of them were worried about not finishing it before the deadline.....

"Lucy.... can you sing the song again??" asked Stephen

"ya! sure...."

Lucy sang the song again.... with the same feeling... but this time... she was more confident about herself.... she had a lot of control over her emotions.... it was perfect this time...she also added some improvisations along the way.... the members could feel her having control over herself and they were happy to feel it...

"That was great Lucy.... now want to see our magic??" Jeremy was excited...

"magic??"

"yes... don't be surprised now..."

"mmmm... let's see"

the members took their seat.... Jeremy on his drums... Damon on his guitar.... and Stephen on his key board....

"now start singing on the count again...." asked Stephen...

Jeremy started his count with his drum sticks....

"1..2..3 go.."

Lucy started singing according to the beat.... the members listened to the beat and started playing their instruments as they see it fit... each and every one of them played their instruments according to their wish.... if it were others playing like this.... it would have sound like a classroom full of energetic children without a teacher.... but that was not the case here.... all of them synchronised perfectly.... it was like all three of them were a single man... it was like they had already practiced it a hell lot of time....

no one with a perfectly sound mind would believe that this was their first time playing this... it was so magical.... Lucy was not able to believe her eyes and ears.... she was shocked but also surprised... a lot of thoughts started running in her mind.... but she pulled herself together and decided to enjoy that moment to the fullest... she put all her worries on the side and enjoyed the moment... she enjoyed singing this song for the first time... the members too enjoyed and played the instruments perfectly.....

Lucy understood what it meant to be a part of the group.... The Beast.... she was looking forward to the debut more than ever....
