New Familia
Within a small room, a young woman lay with her back exposed while another woman was seated on the bed nearby and held a piece of paper in her hand.
Goddess Seshat passed over the paper to Almura then said. "I accepted you because of the request of Mallory so that she can gain some reliable allies. Please do not make me regret this decision."
Almura patted her chest and spoke with conviction. "You do not need to worry goddess! Although Mallory is younger than me, I feel that she is reliable and someone worth having a close relationship with. Once I have decided to partner up with someone then I would not go against my own words for no good reason. You can trust me to do my best to support her."
The levelling up and activities of Mallory had become more well known to those who listened to the gossip so Almura had heard many things.
Almura had met Mallory before the level up and they had built up a working relationship together.
With their continued work together and the gossip about Mallory's level up and hew alias, Almura could easily guess that Mallory had great potential.
If she did not volunteer as Mallory's personal blacksmith and party member then there would soon be many others who would try to do the same while she would be left feeling regret over missing such an opportunity.
Almura looked at the piece of paper which had been handed over to her then showed a slight smile on her face.

Due to Almura possessing half the blood of the Amazon and Dwarf tribes while working tirelessly within the blacksmith, she had inherited the excellent physical stats and potential from both halves of her mother and father while adding to that potential through her own hard efforts.
Although she did not possess any skills or magic, it was already an excellent start for someone to be introduced into the familia as part of Mallory's team.
Almura bowed a little towards her new goddess then ran out of the room to meet up with Mallory. "Thank you again Goddess Seshat!"
Four people were clashing within the main training grounds of the familia after a little time had passed.
The smaller figure moved very quickly as the other three tried to land a single hit and corner them.
Once there was no room to back off into, Mallory jumped back towards the wall then used it to support body which pushed her higher into the air.
Her foot landed onto the head of Swaine then she managed to hold her balance before leaping over to the other side where there was more space.
Just before she had jumped, one of her feet kicked towards the side of the head of Swaine. "So careless."
The next moment, Swaine had tripped over something on the ground which saved him from being harmed while Mallory was not able to jump as far as she liked.
When the main support had shifted suddenly, it was very easy for her or anyone else to lose their balance and fall down.
Mallory was very dexterous so she was fast to respond in time so her landing was smooth and she was quick to run to avoid the wooden weapons which swung towards her.
Mallory ducked under one and moved to the side a little to avoid them before kicking Almura into the stomach.
Almura was knocked back and rolled on the ground from the kick. "Damn.. that hurt."
Franco continued his assault on Mallory until he was hit with a fist to his face. "Ah.."
Swaine had got up then ran towards Mallory who had dealt with the other two in a short time.
The fist belonging to Swaine missed then he felt pain in his stomach. "Uh.."
They kept climbing to their feet each time but their painful grunts followed as they were beaten down again.
Three of them were laying out on the ground and had some empty healing potions by them after Mallory had wrapped them in bandages which were soaked in them.
When the bandages made contact with their skin, they started to heal up and their wounds made a 'tss' noise.
Although they were healing their bruised and cut bodies, they still lay there unconscious after they had suffered numerous attacks from Mallory.
As they lay unconscious, Mallory looked over their peaceful sleeping faces and smiled. "I will give them all some time to rest before the next sparring session."
The most effective way to raise the physical stats was through gaining experience and enduring harsh training, the larger familia had their own way of increasing the growth of those that joined them.
The Freya familia had a capable healer which could bring people back from having serious injuries which could cause their deaths.
Their members would be pushed to the brink of death then were healed up so that they could gain a much faster growth.
If a person could not endure the pain and were unable to endure the mental torture which came with it then that method could just as easily break a person rather than help them grow.
In order for Mallory to help Swaine, Franco and Almura, she needed to control the use of her own strength to avoid inflicting serious enough injuries to them and make use of the healing potions to heal the wounds.
Even if they did not have an effective skill to aid their growth, Mallory was able to help raise their stats a little faster than usual without causing them too much suffering.
They continued to spar once they had woken up and in between that, Mallory sparred with the others that were training there too so she was able to gain a little more practice which actually helped her to improve.
Their time training together had helped to improve their endurance the most while the chain links that Mallory could see had become a little less fragile looking than before when she used her ability to see the auras of others.
Once their training had ended, Mallory rested up and then went to meet up with her goddess who had called her.
Goddess Seshat sat with her legs crossed and she watched Mallory enter. "I have tried to keep you out of trouble since you have joined but it seems like you have no choice but to keep going ahead into anything that appears. This time.. I will leave you with a task rather than try to shelter you. You will be leaving the city this time so you should survive and come back with some good results."
Mallory saluted her then listened to the details of the task which had been given. "Alright, I will take them with me."
