These were people moving in pairs. Going alone would only make more problems, so they would deal with them in pairs as well. Ulysses exchanged a nod with Luke and as they moved, leaving Elise there.
Rin and Luke crept through the shade of the hedges, moving to find their chasers. It took some time for them to find a pair, alone, far from others. Exchanging another nod, both of them trailed them for a couple of minutes and when an opportunity arrived.
They leapt at them like a hungry beast. Luke, the taller and heavier member of the duo, went for the man, leaving Rin to deal with the woman.
Rin felt a little tad bad about ambushing a woman, but there's no stopping it now. They came for them first, he was merely defending. This was well and good for his conscience.
