23 A Deadly Rebound

Looking at her 125kg weight, Qiao Lingxiang suddenly felt like she found her motivation to live.

She recalled Qiu Chen, Xiong Yangbo, and Zhong Tie's irritating faces. She silently pursed her lips and went back to her family's basement cellar. She found the spanner Qiao Pengfei used to repair the car and stuffed it into her bag quietly.

The next morning, Qiao Lingxiang woke up hungry once again.

She changed into a long sleeve and long pants sport suit with wool embedded inside the lining. She didn't wear her school uniform. She only had two sets of customized school uniforms that she swapped every day. Yesterday, because of the fight, the collar of one of the uniforms was stained with blood.

It would be hard to wash it clean entirely.

She needed to save her other uniform set. Anyway, the school probably wouldn't check their appearance and attire.

So, Qiao Lingxiang put on her woolen set and went out with a stainless steel wrench in her bag.

Along the way, she rested twice. She reached the school while panting slightly. Coincidentally, she saw Qiu Chen talking to a sports student a year older than them. His face was swollen and bruised and there were multiple red scratches on his face.

When he saw Qiao Lingxiang entering the school gates, he opened his mouth and made a sound.

"F**k, I'm seeing that female pig bright and early in the morning. How unlucky."

Qiu Chen looked as though his bones were scattered. The ten fingerprints on his neck were very obvious. The bloody scratches on his face, courtesy of Qiao Lingxiang, were stinging with pain this morning.

Thus, it was understandable that he was in a bad mood when he saw Qiao Lingxiang.

Normally, when Qiao Lingxiang encountered someone speaking of her like this, she would put up with it and not retaliate.

Multiple past experiences told her that fighting back wouldn't get her any self-respect. It would just cause other people to laugh at her even more.

However, she seemed to have taken the wrong medicine today. She rebutted Qiu Chen directly and scolded him back. "B*stard! I feel even more unlucky to be seeing you bright and early in the morning."

"What did you say?!"

Qiao Lingxiang raised his hand and pointed at Qiao Lingxiang. He seemed to be threatening her as he said to her, "Repeat what you said if you're bold enough."

"B*stard, b*stard, b*stard!"

Qiao Lingxiang scolded Qiu Chen three times continuously. She was cursing him, but so what? Qiu Chen was a b*stard to begin with.

Ah, it felt so comfortable to scold people loudly.

She saw Qiu Chen limping towards her in anger. He stretched out his hand and pushed Qiao Lingxiang back. He cursed at her.

"Are you trying to die?"

Qiao Lingxiang took off her bag as she retreated backward. She took out the wrench in her bag and smashed Qiu Chen's body without any hesitation.

Once a fight started, there was no end to it unless you put up with it right at the start. When you couldn't ignore it anymore, like Qiao Lingxiang, you would rebound furiously and retaliate.

No one expected her to have the guts to retaliate. She even took out a stainless steel wrench instantly. The moment she acted, she stunned everyone around her.

They were astounded not because she fought well, was very powerful, or looked amazing while fighting. Retaliating against Qiu Chen was surprising enough.

Yesterday, Qiu Chen got hit three times. The first time, Qiao Lingxiang went crazy and nearly choked him to death. The second time, Cen Yi helped Qiao Lingxiang take revenge. The third time, yesterday afternoon, he got strangled by Qiao Lingxiang again.

This morning, Qiu Chen didn't want to come to school. However, his parents both went out for work and there was nothing to eat at home. If Qiu Chen didn't come to school, he would die of hunger at home.

Hence, he could only ask his elder cousin to pick him up for school on his bicycle so he could eat his breakfast at school.
