I heard a stern voice come from behind aria.

ARIA WHERE WERE YOU.THE TRAIL IS ABOUT TO START GET READY.

A light golden-haired individual with blue eyes stands in a bright royal dress, accentuated by radiant light armor. Ready for adventure, their determined expression reflects strength and hope.

Aria slowly turns her head towards the boy as she looks a little stressed.

Heyy Lucian I want you to meet our new team member she said as she showed me with her arm's showing me.

Huh? I immediately become stressed as I didn't know what to do.

I started to sweat a little as I turned my head in another deriction.

Hey lucian my name is zeran.

I raise my hand in the air as I speak to him.

Lucian didn't say I could see him move towards aria with my periferal eyes.

He grabbed aria's hands as he started to walk away.

I felt something break in my heart as i heard there footsteps go farther and farther away.

(I guess it was expected)

(I was bad at socialising anyway)

(But if only I had someone by my side)

(Someone who I can rely and trust with. than I would have had a better confidence in socialising )

My vision turned darker and darker as I realised something important.

His whole world shattered into pieces as he realised his situation here.

He didn't know anything about this place .he didn't have any person to rely on. he didn't know what to do here.

He was aimless in this crowded place where he didn't even knew where to go.

Then suddenly a voice came in this shattered world.

Are you not going to follow?

I was surprised as I looked above to see the boy looking at me with annoyance.

If you don't want to follow us then you can just go find another team.

He said as he turned his head.

I looked at him with awe.

He walked more farther away as I immediately screamed.

my scream immediately attention to us as the other people started to stare at us.

I immediately regretted screaming that hard.

I immediately closed my eyes with embarrassment to what I was saying.

I opened it slowly to see what he was doing.

He was putting the palm of his hand on his eyes with embarrassment as all of the people around were looking at us with a mocking look.

He gritted his teeths tightly with anger.

I didn't wait further as I immediately followed them .

Aria looked sad about our situation as we continued to a location and reached there immediately.

Lucian immediately got to work.

Everybody gets ready we are about to start this trail.

I looked around this place as it had big walls shaped weirdly squared.

And on one of the sides of the wall there was a giant door.

This walls had vines shaped in a weird way as if it had some kind of code in here.

Now everyone did you all get the rules?

Lucian said with calmness.

YES!

all 7 other members of the team said with union. Except me and aria.

I immediately look at lucian who was staring at me.

Aria didn't say anything about it as an announcement was released.

[DING THE FIRST TRAIL IS GOING TO BE IN A DESERT]

[EACH TEAM WILL BE GIVEN SOME AMOUNT OF WATER AND FOOD ACCORDING TO THE NUMBER OF TEAMMATES]

[YOU MUST COMPLETE THIS TRAIL IN 1 WEEK OR ELSE YOU ARE GOING TO BE ELIMINATED FROM THIS TRAIL]

[THE NEXT MISSION TRAIL WILL START AFTER A WEEK]

I panicked when I heard the announcement (Wait what the f**k was I doing not listening to Lucian)

I tried to breath calmly.

[THE FIRST PERSON AND TEAM WILL GET SPECIAL REWARDS FOR COMPLETING THIS TRAIL]

Now everyone get ready to enter the gate.

Lucian said with cautiousness.

the door started to open with a huge sound.

I looked at the door with curiosity.

As the door opened a bright light struck our vision.

And behind that door was a huge desert.

Some of the teams immediately went outside with a confident look on there face while some stayed behind for a bit.

Before going outside aswell.

Lucian didn't wait for much long aswell as he also started to walk towards the gate with others following him.

As all of the people were already outside they were going looking for a clue on where to go.

As I looked at all of this I slowly walked outside of the gate.

As I stepped outside I was shocked at the vastness of the this place as I couldn't even see the end of this place.

But immediately I felt something unlikable about this place.

(Why is it so hot in here?)

(I thought it would be 32 to 49 c° not more than 60°c)

(If not for my body being having tough defense I would have been burning to death here)

(The air here was harder to breath and this place feeled like I was watching the air dance)

I looked more in the distance than I saw something unexpected.

(Some of the people were RUNNING!?)

(I was shocked by the audacity of this people to just run without a care in the world)

(Am I missing something here or are those people just idiots to run through this desert with only so little food and water)

Lucian looked at the ground and he saw a small black rock there.

He looked above to see another black rock in the distance.

Everyone follow this black rocks and don't forget to look at your ground every now and then.

I looked down to see a black rock close to our foot.

Now let's go we don't want to waste time here.

He said as he walked slowly. While the others followed him.

I looked at the black rock on the ground before following them.

We were slowly walking at a 3 meters per second walk .

As we went through all of this I decided to be Extra carefull.

As we reached another rock on a 10 meters distance we glanced at it to make sure we were going to the right side.

I stared at the rock.

As we again walked every 3 To 4 seconds we saw a rock on the ground.

I counted In my head to see how much we have passed.

(This would help me recognise how much distance I have covered and if necessary for any calculations if danger were to occur and we had to walk back.)

A green haired boy asked while walking.

How much distance do we have to cover to reach the end?

Lucian looked didn't turn his head back as he spoke in a slow voice.

I don't know much but we need to cover atleast 1000km and while we are walking no one will talk we need to save our energy even if it is only little bit.

And also don't breath through your mouth instead breath through your nose it will help with increase your stamina while walking.

The boy immediately got quiet the moment he got warned by Lucian.

I got confused as i had never actually expected it to be 1000km.

(I guess I now know why lucian is acting cautious to not speak and save every energy he can)

(1000km is alot for a Human especially if the place is a desert you are walking on)

I looked at the side of our path and to my suprise I saw something there that shocked me.

A hard white stuff on the ground.

(Is that a bone of someone?)

I was about to tell all of them about it but I stopped myself.

(Get a hold of yourself what was I about to do)

(We are walking behind other peoples footsteps.)

(If they are not in trouble than we are fine aswell)

(We already know that the others can take our stuff and are paranoid about it)

(My statement would only make them more paranoid about there sorrundings)

I looked at the ground.

(This should be the 9th stone we came across)

Although we were walking quite easily passing through this desert I couldn't get the bone of someone out of my head.

As we kept walking we reached our 10th stone.

(Well now as if it wasn't already hard the system is making it even harder)

Lucian looked at the ground with suprise but he didn't stop.

He looked ahead.

(I immediately noticed his behaviour)

(I also looked ahead to see what was going on)

I didn't understand why he looked so panicked but I soon realised something.
