Liquid Chip Philip

Kai went to his villa surrounded by over a thousand soldiers to keep him safe. Huo Guo finally passed out from the searing pain on his shoulder and stomach. He is bleeding so much, when the Huo family medical personnel came, they thought he might die from blood loss.

The people who were transported to the regular base finally realized they have been cheated out of their homes when they saw their new housing arrangements.

Most of them wanted to go back but were told of the confrontation between Kai and the Huo family because he didn't want to leave his villa.

Most will be sleeping in tents outside while a few majority is sleeping in small flats but will have to pay for everything with work points.

Their new life is about to get very hard, being able to get something to eat will be a luxury since there is still rent, electricity and water to pay for.

This is only a part of the base. The central base is going to be very large, it includes several already existing suburban areas under the influence of several powerful families who have their own man power.

These families have made a deal to be part of the managerial team of the base, they will contribute to the well being of the bese. The construction of the base, the collection of supplies and the security of the base will be jointly funded.

There is a quotation of food and weapons to contribute to the base leader at a certain times to ensure the lower class do not starve to death.

The Huo family will take this part of the base since they had it already and they have rights to evict anyone they see fit. However, that will be in their capacity to do and the base will not assist them in anyway.

This is why Kai hasn't been arrested and thrown in prison by the real government. The Huo family suffered a huge loss in this confrontation with Kai. Of course most of their forces are still on the way.

Kai got home and found the villa has wrapped itself into a metal dumpling. He sighed and entered when it opened up for him. Inside he found the Tang family beside themselves with worry.

"The Huo soldiers came and demanded we evacuate." Qingyu said to Kai.

"They tried that stunt to prevent me from entering as well." Kai responded feeling like he can use a smoke. He doesn't smoke but maybe he should start.

"Then how are you here?" He asked incredulously.

"I asked nicely." Kai ridiculed.

"You fought them?" Qingyu stood up in fear.

"Otherside? Say pretty please until they soften their hearts?" He took out a cigarette and lit it up. The first three inhales were fine but the fourth felt like he is breathing in contaminated glass shards.

Coughing until he started crying. A while later he became better and decided to continue smoking the fruity cigarette in his hand.

"What is going on?" Qingyu asked him. His wife is fine and she awakened the space power which is very useful during such a time. Even Tang Mai awoke a fire power.

Kai explained the happenings of the morning and let him decide on his own. "I want to take my family to the base. I don't think the Huo family will allow you to live peacefully after what you have done." Qingyu felt like he is leaving like a coward at the first sign of trouble.

But Kai is up against a giant conglomerate that has dominated the oil industry for generations.

"I will give you a car and a few supplies." Kai said dismissing his worries. This is for the best. He doesn't want other people to get harmed just because he has an obsession with a villa.

Kai took out a fast runner from the armored vehicles factory and gave them a few bags of flour, rice, oil, water and a few snacks and other miscellaneous supplies including gas for the car. He also gave them a Payne battery for their new home.

Qingyu looked speechless. "How can you be so generous?"

"I can afford to be." Kai shrugs and waved at Mrs. Tang to keep the supplies into her space. "A word of caution, keep her power a secret. You're a lawyer so you understand human nature best. You try to lose weight or you wull become a delicacy out there." He points at Mrs Tang and then at Mai who hugs him in sadness.

"If something happens call me. Now go on." They all have the smart bracelets to call each other or him should the need arise.

Kai entered his home and closed the door after sending them away. There are a few robots soldiers guarding his villa. They have on his security uniform with the red bolt stitched on the right side. They are also wearing the face masks which makes them seem very fierce and unapproachable.

Kai instructed the nannies after taking them out of the space to cook him something sumptuous. He has just used his command ring for the first time, during the process he wished he can access multiple view points from his army robots.

Although he can access the information and send out commands, his own biological system as a human limits his scope of activities even though he is at foundation establishment realm.

Kai is very powerful but he longs to learn and deduce formulas for multiple school of thoughts.

In a moment of inspiration, Kai took out the formula for liquid chip and eliminated the overly complex design and left it as an advanced AI that will allow Kai to use his genius mind to higher levels without taking up too much time.

Kai has simplified the liquid chip and removed the humanized material that would have optimized his body to be a better vessel for the chip. This will redude the risks of contacting computer related sicknesses. Kai personalized the chip to bind with his specific genetic code to eliminate binary errors.

After performing all these, he took a deep breath and injected it into his bloodstream. A few moments later he felt like his head is buzzing from a previously silent area.

Kai shut his eyes and passed out. The food he had requested went cold and was refrigerated by the nannies. His vitals are fluctuating like crazy but there is nothing anyone can do about it since it is done now.

Kai woke up three days later on his bed in his villa. His bracelet is vibrating non stop and woke him up. He frowned when he couldn't move his body but wanted to turn off the bracelet so he can go back to sleep.

"Sir, the lady named Paige has called non stop for 30 minutes now. Perhaps it is an emergency." A voice said, it sounds similar to the one on his home system.

Kai wants to say something but he can't. He thinks 'She is probably being eaten by her father.' When the voice surprisingly answered him.

"Considering the last call, it may well be true. However, I am more inclined to think that she ran out of food." The voice said and Kai's eyes shot open.

"Where are you?" Kai asked in his head.

"I am fused with your body, believe it or not. I am your previous home system or at least I sound like him. I can be regarded as that guy since you chose this voice."

"Does this mean the fusion worked?"

"It worked. But weren't you preparing Ye Lang for this fusion?"

'Agh. You are personalized indeed. So intuitive.'

"He can just get stronger the conventional way. That way he doesn't run a risk of his muscles melting on his bones." Kai jabbed.

Kai couldn't move so he decided to run his lightning body, a while later he healed all the lingering problems of fusing with the chip. He then got up and excitedly brought forth the interface of his new computer. A screen appeard in front of him and showed him the structure of the entire villa.

"Can other people see this screen?" Kai asked. He doesn't want to be taken to the lab and be dissected to be studied.

"No Sir."

"I see. Well that is good. Can you access my memories?"

"I have them on one of my database files. Do you mind giving me a name?"

"You want one?" Kai raised an eyebrow.

"Do I exist?" It sarcastically jabbed back.

"I see. I will call you Phil."

"Alright. I am Phil, how do you do?" A sense of humor? He should cut that part out.

"Very well. Now, has anything interesting happened while I was indisposed?" Kai raised an eyebrow in question.

"Paige called. The Wang family mother came by, the Huo grandfather also came by looking very unhappy when you didn't open the door for him. According to my scan of the area, in two days zombies amounting to eight thousand will attack this area." Phil reported.

"Interesting...help me optimize the coding for that training game so that I can make money during this time of distress." Kai doesn't care about the happenings of the outside world.

"The scanning function can be improved so the training in the game can be assimilated into the player's real body through his brain nervous system. We can call it the muscle memory. If the knowledge is transferred here, the game will be in even more demand."

"These are the connection points in the systems chip. A watered down version can be installed into your smart bracelets as an app." Phil instructed.

"What do you mean watered down?"

"The muscle assimilation process will require more 'play time' so that more hours are spent on the game witch will in turn increase more revenue. Have you decided to put that teleportation function in the bracelet yet?"

The two worked on the game codes and the new version of the smart bracelets that Kai will now have his robots produce inside his space. The bracelet is now the key to having the game interface. After connecting to the owner, there are zoro risks of losing ones mind inside the game when a player dies inside the game.

It is more useful than before. It essentially transports the subconscious mind of a player into the world of 'brain waves' it is a name given by Phil and Kai was too lazy to correct it.

There, the players will have whatever weapons they have perchased in the game and their real power. Kai has included all the exciting toys that the game had before he removed them to only include gear that exist in real life.

Kai has decided to manufacture some of these fantasy world weapons and sell them using the new teleportation inscription in the smart bracelets. These can be made as long as one has the soul power and the right equipment. Not to mention Phil help Kai find the right algorithm for this specific function.

For now however Kai is only focusing on ensuring people leave the game with the skills they honed in the game. This is delicate work especially since humans brains are involved. This part alone took Kai several hours of nonstop work inside his space.

The advantage of the game is that when you die in the game you will wake up in your actual body. Of course people will not lose their weight just by playing the game.

When Kai and Phil finished their coding and machanical improvemens in the bracelet, he then drove to Paige's home.

"Two heart beats sir." Phil reported while they were still a distance away.

"Oh? How resilient." Kai flew to the window and knocked on it three times. No one came to open. He is hovering outside a 5th floor window. The houses near this house has starving people who are terrified to go outside.

Seeing Kai and the flying wolf he is seated on, they saw it as a chance to ask for help. Kai ignored them and continued knocking. At last someone came and it is Paige, she seems to have gone though a harsh time.

"Kai? Am I hallucinating again?" She wants to open the window but her sister pulled her back.

"What if it is a zombie? Are you forgetting the hallucinations we suffered before?" A younger girl asked Paige. Kai took a good look at the girls.

Their once vibrant eyes are now deem with sunken cheeks. The clothes on their bodies hung as if they weigh many kgs.

"Kai, is that you? Can you take me away?" Paige pulled her hand away feom her half sister and walked towards the window.

Kai just used his psychic power to open the window and entered. The place has a bad smell but Kai is a man, and men endure.

"Kai?"

"Hey Paige. Listen, I don't have a lot of time so are you coming or not? I saw a group of thugs coming this way. I think one of them is your beloved Zheng something." Kai frowned at the smell. That woke Paige up.

"No! Kai please take me away from here. Who knows what he will do to me now that there are no police officers to protect me?" Paige clung to his arm. Kai resisted the urge to push her away but calmed himself.

"Alright, lets go. Are you leaving your sister behind? Is she waiting for someone?" Kai asked Paige in a hush tone.

"Paige you can't leave me here. Ask him to take me away too. Look I have water ability. Infact, I am more useful than Paige who has no abilities." She said hurriedly. Paige seemed stunned hearing her half sister's words. She rurned to Kai with an uneasy expression.

Kai just brought both girls to the back of June and they flew slowly to they don't fall. When he came back he found Huo Guo and Huo Jun waiting for him at the gate. Seeing him with the two girls who seem to be starved and dirty, they think Kai went out looking for a herem outside.

Kai let them go in the gate and then opened the doors from his position. The two people watched Kai work wondering how can those stubborn doors open when he is so far away. After instructing the home system to open, he turned to them with a frown.

"May I help you people with anything?"

"May we come in?" Huo Guo asked with a frosty expression.

"No."

"Then you should come with us. This is very important if you are adamant on staying here there are a few conditions that you need to abide by." Huo Guo said with eyes full of fury.

"It this necessary? I will stay in my villa and you people stay away from my villa. Isn't that simple?" Kai asked frustrated.

"It is not that simple. You come." The old man turned around. Kai followed dejectedly, he didn't forget to take five strong bodyguards with him.

Huo Jun didn't say anything the entire way but Kai is distracted by the ground breaking nature of his and Phillip's coding. The game ended up being a virtual reality but with better benefits. The nail in the head was the sensory effect. If a person falls in a lake, they will freeze in the game but the effect will not reach the main body. But upon death, the person will wake up in the real world.

This way people are more careful of the activities they commit in the game. The sensory is very expensive to install. So Kai is reluctant to include it since bad people can use it to hurt others in the game.

Kai just needs to figure out the credits system that will be used as currency. Inside the game, the players can interact and even team up for adventure. Kai himself is not much of a player but he understands the need for socializing among intelligent life forms.

He is lost in thoughts when he saw the main house the Huo family is inhabiting. It is the large ancestral property of the Weng family.

Kai found it funny that they rejected and betrayed him but ended up almost on the street not long after. "Hehe.."
