A Place Called Home

"What is going on here?" A man with large stature came to stand in the middle of the confrontation. He looked at Kai and showed mild surprise when he saw the people behind Kai. Not only do they look professional and very strong but they are armed to the teeth.

"Mr..." The man pretended to not know Kai.

"Waters. I am Kai Waters. I didn't introduce myself the last time we met, you were busy loitering in my home. Are you people trying to kick me out of my own home now?" Kai looked at the man who wanted to fight him for a colonel elder brother of his last time but ultimately cowered, Kai had shattered his brother's jaw at that time.

"Waters? I was under the impression that you are a Wang?" The man ridiculed.

"Oh? I was under the impression you didn't know who I am. How is your brother the colonel?" Kai asked with equal ridicule in his tone. The man's face morphed into an angry scowl.

"What are you doing attacking a soldier who is only doing their duty?" The man asked with a clenched jaw looking at the soldier who can not get up from the ground.

"He put his hand on me. He is lucky I didn't cut it off. At that time he would be crippled and how would he make ends meet?" Kai tilted his head.

The soldier can not tell if Kai is joking or if he will really do what he says. The higher ups had instructed to get rid of the residents of thisbplace. It will now belong to the men working under the Huo family.

Many want the villa that belongs to Kai because of the security level. The Huo family want the villa for themselves. They were instructed to use any means necessary to get rid of Kai Waters.

"The premises are now all private property of the Huo family and all outsiders are to be evicted to the central base." The soldier said with a stoic expression.

Kai sighed and snapped his fingers again. This time, 200 armed people wearing the same uniform marched from the sides of the main gate. Kai can now release anyone from his space as long as the distance is not too far away from himself. A few hundred meters of distance is fine.

The large soldier showed shock but still remained unmoved. Kai raised an eyebrow and then, snapped his fingers again. This time, 1500 armed soldiers came out making the people scream in terror.

Kai looked at the man and understood that this was an order feom those above who are eyeing Kai's belongings.

A soldier ran to call someone with decision making powers. Kai then sent an instruction to the robots, they began pointing their guns towards the soldiers while others pointed toward the snipers positions.

Kai's robots have scanning technology and it is a priority to find hostile individuals and eliminate them. "11 snipers huh? Not bad." Kai said smirking at large soldier's twitching eyebrows.

"Kai. What happened? Who are all these people?" Huo Guo asked looking at the thousand people aiming at the soldiers.

"Your people are telling me that my villa has been confiscated, is that true?" Kai asked him but the look in his eyes is stubborn and a little crazed.

"The villa is on the property of the Huo family. Therefore it belongs to the Huo family." Huo Guo said with a cold tone.

"So you are taking away my home?" Kai asked internally enraged.

"It was never yours to begin with." These words hang in the air. The solder from before is now very smug. Kai failed to control his expression because Huo Guo also began to smile with his eyes.

"What would happen if I entered the gate?" Kai tilted his head.

"You would be shot down immediately." Huo Guo said failing to hide the smugness in his tone.

"Good to know." Kai sent an order. The soldiers from the opposing forces are a total of 5

168 including the general, Huo Guo.

The robots aimed and shot down the snipers. Killing them. Then all the people holding their guns are disarmed through a shot to the hand. The sound of the laser guns is minimum, by the time others noticed what is happening 11 people are dead and over five hundred people are shot in the hands, arms and shoulders.

Through the confusion someone had managed to shoot Kai in the chest but Kai is wearing light armor. He caught the bullet as it fell after it bounced off the uniform. Of course Kai's own uniform is a little more than light armor.

The soldiers and Huo Guo who saw his got chills up their spines. Hou Guo's attention is soon pulled to the groans of pain from the men around him.

"What did you do?" Huo Guo's expression changed drastically. He looked around and saw his men fall on the ground while Kai's people are still intact.

"Tell your son to stand down. I have killed all the snipers and he is now aiming at me like one of them." He drew cold breath and then sighed with a helpless expression. "I would hate to kill him." Kai said gloomily but there is no amusement in his tone, he will kill Huo Jun if he doesn't stand down.

"Kai, do you understand what you have done? You have assassinated the members of the nation military. This is treason of the highest order!" Huo Guo has a pounding heart inside his chest.

"Law 246 section 5.1 A soldier is never to aim or attack thw country's public members. Should this happen, the public is obligated to defend themselves." Kai said at the top of his voice.

Just then, Kai heard a bullet whooshing through the air headed for his head. He tilted his head and it embeded itself on the security small house be the main gate making a bullet size whole.

The scene became silent. He then ordered the best sniper to focus in that direction and fire. The shots began. Seeing where Kai's man is shooting, Huo Guo took out a gun and this one is a laser gun with as impressive power as the one Kai took out at the same time and pointed it to the old man in front of him.

Tensions are high. Both parties are ready to kill each other for what they want. Kai's expression is not even flinching at the sound of the people crying and rushing to go away from here.

"I have eyes on your son." Kai said. His voice cold. Huo Guo still doesn't believe him.

"You're grasping."

"He is wearing a grey suit with a blue tie." He tilted his head to the side as if thinking about something. "I would have gone with black on my last day on earth." Kai said off handedly.

"Then you have chosen perfectly." Huo Guo said. But thinking about Kai's words, his expression finally showed what Kai was hoping to see. Fear.

"Tell him to stand down or he dies here today. If I kill the heir to the Huo family I will have to insist that you all die here today. Save myself any future troubles." Kai continues with a helpless shrug of his shoulders.

As the commander of the robot army, Kai can send instructions and get feedback from the army in real time. He is the ultimate commander.

As they are just standing there in a stalemate, more soldiers from the Huo family came out while the excess people drive away in buses and large trucks.

Seeing the few thousands of people approaching with guns aimed at him and his army. Kai released more robot soldiers. Five thousand robots suddenly appeared out of the blue holding all sort of guns. Unlike the general who is calm at the face of such changes, the soldiers are not so composed after witnessing the enemy numbers increasing out of the blue.

"Where did they came from?"

"What the hell is happening?"

"How can people just appear out of nowhere like this?"

The other army is made of humans who are always plagued by question and emotions such as fear. Kai tilted his head and looked at Huo Guo who seemed to be sweating.

"What do you want to do?" He aske Kai who doesn't seem to be relenting anytime soon.

"Defend myself." Kai said lightly. The remaining residents are looking from inside their windows but most can not see much because of the distance.

"We only asked you to leave." Huo Guo said with clenched teeth.

"I ain't going anywhere old man. Get that through your thick skull. Or should I soften it with a laser bullet first before you can hear me nicely?" Kai shook his gun.

"Tell them to stand down!" Huo Guo said in visible anger at being challenged in his own territory.

"Or what?" Kai asked stubbornly.

The laser gun in Huo Guo's hand finally released a lethal light beam headed straight for Kai's head. Kai made use of his lightning body to the fullest and disappeared from his previous spot. The laser beam hit one of his robot soldiers in the chest but it didn't do any damage. Huo Guo is expecting to see Kai lying flat on the ground dead from his lazer beam but instead the boy disappeared.

Kai sent an order to shoot the soldiers but only kill half and fatally wound the rest, including Huo Guo. The gun fight began, colorful lights littered the main gate. Gun shots sounded all over the villa area and soldiers fell one by one.

Kai appeared next to Huo Jun pointing a gun to his head. "Hello lover." A cold muzzle touched Huo Jun's head making him freeze in shock.

"Kai." He turned slowly to face him but the Kai in front of him feels different. Colder more distant.

"Was it necessary to kill so many people over a single villa?" Huo Jun asked in frustration.

"Don't stall. Any last words?" Kai asked with a mirthful tone.

"Fight me." Huo Jun said.

"Huh?"

"Fight me, if you win you get your villa back. If I win, you leave and you open the villa for us." Huo Jun said.

"No deal." Kai said firmly.

"We have five times the numbers of your soldiers. This way you don't lose anymore soldiers." Huo Jun said.

"I won't lose a single one of them, probably." Kai said shrugging his shoulders.

"All this for a singke villa?"

"It is not a single villa, it is MY HOME." kai said in visible anger.

"Kai, you're not here to kill me are you?"

Kai smiled a self deprecating smile. "You got me." Kai shot him on the knee and then when the immense pain registered on Huo Jun, he took out a knife laced with paralysis tonic and stabbed him in the right shoulder.

When he went down in pain and losing control of his body, they looked at each other in the eyes. Huo Jun's eyes held pain and confusion while Kai showed coldness. He left him on the ground and went back out.

His army is now looking for the soldiers who are hiding on the nearby trees and buildings. They get shot but they don't go down. Only a few were shot and stayed down.

Kai took them back to his space and appeared next to the crouching Huo Guo. "Your son's bodyguards are dead. He is in a lot of pain. If you don't call back your soldiers, I will have every last one of them killed today."

Kai smiled an unfriendly smile as he looked at Huo Guo. "Retreat!" Huo Guo shouted in pain and still in anger, and as if they have been granted amnesty, the soldiers ran away. Kai's soldiers did not run after them. They stood in attention as if they are awaiting orders.

Kai took them back and left 1000 outside. Huo Guo seeing the thousands of soldiers disappearing like that made him sweat. Who the hell are these people?

"Who the hell is Kai Waters?" He tried to stand up with great difficulty and called someone to check on his son.

Kai looked at Huo Guo with blazing eyes.

"This is not your home. It is bought by my family and we decide what happens to each and every villa in here." Huo Guo said firmly.

Kai got angry and pistol whipped him in the face. Kai's expression seems like he has lost his sanity. "Stop saying that!"

Kai had felt like a stranger in his own body when he first woke up. He doesn't remember who he was and only have that villa to belong to.

He doesn't recognize anyone from the entire world and shies away from making meaningful connections because he always feels alone. But in that villa he is home, he doesn't need to have people as long as he is in that villa, he will feel like he is not as lost as he always feels.

Looking at the thousands of dead soldiers on th ground. Huo Guo's anger resurfaced. "You are evil boy. You have taken so many lives today, and for what? A house?"

"I am evil. You best remember that the next time you aim a gun to my head old man. And for the record, it is not just a house, it is a home! My home and you can't have it. Try something like this again, I will end the Huo bloodline without blinking." Kai looked Huo Guo in the eyes, anyone looking at him will know that is a promise.
