Chapter 1 Apocalypse online and character creation

Alice was now looking into a VR headset and a game called 'Apocalypse online' a new VRMMO that she had won in a lottery. She was not into games so she don't know what to do with it.

You can see people fighting zombies and other creatures drawn on the cover of the package. It was a VRMMO game a new trending genre.

"I'll just try it for now"

So she set it up and wear it and lay down on her bed and a count down appear.

When I'm done setting it up I wear the headset and lay down on my bed and when I'm ready to enter the game a countdown appears.

When I heard that my surrounding suddenly turn into a white-colored room and a small fairy appear.

"Hi there I'm you're guided to help you create your character"

"Umm hi, so you're a guide huh?"

"Yes, you can ask me any questions you have about your character creation"

"Ohh ok"

So she's a guide huh she looks so real so this is what VR games look like. I just know how to play old-style games like farming games and Tetris.

So back to the character creation, I see a bunch of things like race, health point, magic point, stamina, strength, defense, speed, vitality, intelligence, dexterity, and magic.

"umm fairy let's start"

"ok first input your name don't use your real name for you're privacy"

After saying that a text box appears in front of me.

"Name huh and I can't use my real name make sense how about Carmilla"

"Ok done Carmilla next is your race there is a bunch to pick so feel free to look around remember you can't change your race after you start playing the game so choose wisely"

After saying that a box of different names of race appears.

Human: Have very balanced stats.

Beast man: There are different variations of beast-man. Wolf, rabbit, bear, fox, cat type.

These specialize in different areas depending on the type.

Wolf: Strength, Rabbit: Dexterity, Bear: Vitality, Fox: Intelligence, Cat: Agility

Dwarf:They are strong and dexterous, but short-legged. Recommended for crafters.

Elf: Intelligent and dexterous, but fragile. Recommended for ranged combat.

Giant: Strong and durable, but clumsy.

Undead: There are different varieties of undead zombie, ghost, vampire, and skeleton. Don't have stamina. Weak to sunlight, light, and holy magic.

There is a lot to choose from. I don't want to get tired of doing things so I will choose undead. I don't like the look of zombie and skeleton so between ghost and vampire huh.

Ghost: A undead type that uses magic to do damage and can pass through walls.

Vampire: One of the royalties of the undead has superhuman strength, high vitality, and high magic power, super speed. But has a fatal weakness it will receive a lot of sunlight damage, unlike other undead type it will almost kill you in half a minute even if you have a lot of health and a very long time to be powerful.

Umm picking ghost will help me be a powerful mage and vampire have a pretty balanced stats but I will die in sunlight in seconds.
