Volume 1 Chapter 43: Start Exploring All Of The Caves Part 1

[An: Guys I'm back and the posting of the chapter will be back to normal from today but sometime I will not post any chapter due to something happening on my life or if I can't think of anything to write since thinking of something to write is quite hard and editing a chapter is also hard so the chapter is much easier to read and again I'm sorry for not posting any chapter last week.]

The ceiling start falling down and that crated a loud noise when the ceiling fall on the ground and making the dust on the ground flew around so that start to covered the thing that fall down with the ceiling seeing that I waited for the dust to be cleared before seeing the thing that fall down with the ceiling that happens to be a chest that have the same looks like the other chest that we found so that means it was also a [Starter Chest] but what is inside is still unknown until it was open.

After the dust settled I saw a wooden chest was on top of a pile of rocks so I walk closer to the chest.

When my hand lands on the top of the chest the usual pop-up appeared so after click the [Yes] button the chest open and 4 potions flew out and the [Starter Chest] turn into particles and disappear.

Seeing the color of red and blue liquid inside of the glass bottles I now know what kind of potion came out of the [Starter Chest] and seeing that a potion came out of the [Starter Chest] I was starting to suspect that someone working at the management was playing a prank at me, but enough with thinking a bunch of nonsence.

I pick up the 4 potions and put it inside my inventory. adding more [Small Health Restoration Potion] and [Small Mana Restoration Potion] making it 4 each per kind of potion except the [Small Stamina Restoration Potion].

Confirming that there is nothing left for this room we begun walking back to the main room. After exiting the cave I did the usual thing every time we finish exploring a entrance which is marking it and putting a number at the side the line and the number carve is 9.

We start exploring the next entrance immediately, we enter the entrance next to the side of the last entrance we enter but this time we found nothing beside a dead end and a few stones laying around we did look around for a few minutes but still found nothing, we left and carve a number 10 on it.

To make things faster we start to use the skill [Bat Transformation Lv: 2] since the exploration is now a serous matter and not for fun anymore unlike from the start when I first discovered a bunch of entrances the novelty of exploring the caves and finding different things by your own effort is a new experience for me who grow up in the city but eventually the novelty will fade and it will get boring and monotonous seeing only gray stones and wall, cave that and cave this who will not get bored of it.

The 11th entrance like the 10th entrance we entered there is also nothing here but a dead end.

The 12th entrance after flying for a few seconds we also reach a dead end but this time there is a small hole with a small opening enough for a 8 years old to crawl in it but since I, Eve, and Pepper is in our bat form and there is still a lot of time left for the transformation to run out so the three of us flew straight in. Exiting the hole we found a bunch of spider webs and there is a few spiders in top of it. The spiders did not notice us since we are in our bat form so we start using blood magic to make a bunch of arrows mid air.

When a bunch of blood arrows appears the spiders around the webs got alerted by the intruder so all of the spiders look up and saw 3 bats flying and was surrounded by blood arrow and seeing the bats and the blood arrow circling them all of the spiders now know who made the blood arrow.

All of the spiders start making a hissing sound threatening the intruders who entered there habit and while also rising there front legs showing there big fangs that was dripping with unknown liquid on the ground and when the liquid landed on the ground it created a sizzling sound and if you look at the ground you will see it being melted under the unknown liquid.

When I heard the sizzling sound made from the unknown liquid that came from the mouths of the spiders came in contact with the ground but the one that really send a chill to anyone is that when they saw the unknown liquid start melting the ground of the cave and it was made out of solid rocks and not soil or sand is not but hard and easy to melt but a solid rock surface.

If the unknown liquid came from the mouth of the spiders it must be there saliva and upon seeing the saliva of the spiders can melt even the ground of the cave I hurriedly commented the blood arrow to target the spiders and as soon as I commanded the blood arrows start to flew toward the spiders.

When counting the number of spiders that can be seen it will total a amount of 7 spiders that are visible but that number can't be relied on since there might be a few more spiders hidden on the nest of the spiders or other spots around the cave.

Since the nest of the spiders is made of webs from the spiders so there is a few holes and a few spots where the webs are not to covered so you can still see the inside of the cluster of webs but if you look closely you can still see something but it looks like looking into a fog.

So if you look closely towards the cluster of cobwebs you can see a brownish long stick and if you focus more you also see that it was also filled with string like thing and it was also as thin as a wire, with out a doubt that is one of the spider leg filled by hair.

Some of the spiders fired the saliva dripping from their mouths towards the blood arrows trying to block it but not all of the 7 spiders did fire the saliva from there mouth toward the blood arrows only 3 spiders out of the 7 spiders did so and the rest of the spiders did something else like the 2 other spiders rise there abdomen where there webs come from and start firing but the other 2 spiders only position it self in front of the other 5 other spiders and did not do anything else maybe it was guarding the other 2 kind of spiders who are the long and mid range attackers so the 2 spiders standing in front must be the melee attacker.
