Crowe found two sets of clothes, and they were just about the same size as Marina's. As for Joan, Crowe was unable to find anything that fit her. With Joan's petite figure, it wasn't easy to find someone that matched her size. He recalled there were some clothing in the dormitories, but they were already stained with blood or trampled on the ground and those definitely couldn't be worn by Joan. With that, Crowe took two sets of clothes that were still wrapped in packaging and returned to Room 315.
When he returned to the room, it was Joan who opened the door for him. Sandra and Eileen had already finished packing up their necessities and were all placed in their backpacks. When Crowe saw the laptop bags in Sandra and Eileen's hands, his eyebrows raised slightly.
"Why are you bringing your laptops?
"Laptops are heavy items. If you wish to watch the news, you could always do it with your mobile phones."
"I asked Sandra and Eileen to bring their laptops with them," Joan said at this time.
"Some things on the internet, such as obtaining some restricted information, can not be done with a mobile phone. You need to use a laptop.
"Also, I recalled that there should be a spare power box in the cafeteria. We can also charge the laptops there. There's no need for us to be worried that the battery will wear off."
"I see. However, how do you intend to obtain restricted information?" After listening to Joan's explanation carefully, Crowe looked at the petite and cute Joan in surprise.
"Don't underestimate my ability. It's easy for me to use a computer to hack into electronic devices." Joan snorted lightly as if to express dissatisfaction with Crowe's doubts about her ability.
"Then I will be looking forward to the time where I will require your assistance in this area," Crowe said that and he felt amused at her reaction. It was a side of Joan that he hadn't known about.
"When the time comes, you will definitely be surprised.
"Speaking of which, what are you holding in your hands?" Joan's gaze fell on the two sets of clothes in Crowe's hands.
"These are a change of clothes for Marina. Don't worry, according to my estimation, these clothes should be able to fit her" Crowe said confidently.
"Really?" Marina's face instantly turned red. She had never dated a man before, so these words were too explicit.
"Per...Pervert!" Joan blurted as she launched a verbal attack at Crowe with a calm expression.
"..."
Crowe did not show any unusual expression, nor did he feel ashamed or embarrassed. He just looked at Joan with interest and said with a smile.
"Are you jealous because I did not bring you any clothing?"
"What? No!" Joan's expression froze. The words that she wanted to mock Crowe stopped in her mouth and she did not say anything else.
"I don't have such thoughts. It's just your imagination. The clothes I'm wearing are very comfortable." Joan was eager to defend herself just to prove that Crowe was wrong about her.
"It did cross my mind when I saw Sandra and Eileen carrying those clothes. However, I only found clothes that fit Miss Marina. Although there were clothes that you could wear, they were stained with blood or dust." Looking at Joan's cute face, Crowe stopped teasing her anymore. Instead, he explained a little.
"... I really didn't think about that." Listening to Crowe's explanation, Joan's eyes flashed with a hint of joy while she said it.
Watching the interaction between Crowe and Joan, Marina's heart was shaken by their words, it flashed a hint of envy that she wasn't aware of.
"Okay, let's go," Crowe said to the people who had finished tidying up the room. Crowe turned around and took the lead to walk out of Room 315. The people behind him followed one after another. The journey down the stairs went without any obstruction. As they walked past the pile of bodies,
Sandra and Marina were more and more shocked at the sight. At the entrance of the dormitory building, all they could see were the dead zombie bodies lying on the floor in the corridor.
Those were all done by Crowe alone! There were dozens of them. They knew that Crowe had killed those zombies, but seeing them with their own eyes and seeing so many of them, they still couldn't help themselves but be shocked. They looked at Crowe's figure as he was walking in front, they felt a sense of security that they hadn't felt for a long time.
Crowe opened the door of the main driver's seat and went up, and Joan naturally sat in the passenger seat. Marina, Sandra, and Eileen sat in the second row, while Sean sat alone in the last row. In the trunk of the armored vehicle were the clothes that Sandra, Eileen, and the others had packed, as well as Crowe's backpack.
"An armored vehicle. I've never sat in one before. So this is what it looks like inside the vehicle." Sandra exclaimed.
Eileen also looked at the space of the armored vehicle. "It's so big and it's already filled with so many things, but there's still more space."
However, they didn't ask where the armored vehicle came from.
The cafeteria was on the north side of the female dormitory, and it was just a straight road to reach the cafeteria. The zombies in the proximity had all been cleared during the previous skirmish, so no zombies were attacking the armored vehicle on the first half of the journey. However, they soon attracted a large number of zombies on the second half of the journey. A large number of zombies pounced on them like mad dogs.
Sandra and Eileen's faces were pale. They had only observed the zombies attacking others from upstairs. This was their first time seeing the zombies up close and becoming one of their targets. They couldn't help but feel a little uncertain and afraid. However, when they saw that Crowe's expression that didn't waver at all, they were gradually relieved.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
One after another, zombies charged at them. However, the armored vehicle was like ferocious beasts that devoured the lives of zombies. No matter how many zombies came, they were all killed by the armored vehicle.
The reward manual was flooded with the points provided by the zombies. While they traveled, the forest and the road they passed by were full of blood. Some of the blood was dried up, and some of it was freshly spilled by zombies. From the window of the armored vehicle, rotten corpses could be seen on the road and at the edge of the forest. The scene was bloody and gruesome. This was the cruelty of the apocalypse.
After passing through a particular section of the road, a three-story high cafeteria appeared in front of them. It was exquisitely decorated, and there was a green belt of forest around it.
On regular days, there would be gatherings of boys and girls having fun together. But now, it was silent, as if they had entered a zone of silence. Moreover, there wasn't a single living person around here. The silence was broken as the armored vehicle entered the vicinity.
