Gathering around, they started planning their next move against the hundreds of Mutants trying to wreck the gate open.

They tried to come up with a plan as quickly as possible, nervous that the Mutants would successfully barge in the gates.

"The plan is pretty simple. Just go up the watch tower and use those guns I put up there to kill those Mutants, since they are all Phase 1 Mutants you could still kill them with guns. But I can't say for the Phase 2 Mutants."

Hua Meili quickly explained to them using the shortest amount of time possible to nail the vast information in their heads.

"As we had seen so far, there are no Phase 2 Mutants appearing. Maybe, this is only a simple Zombie wave so we just need to try our best to deal with this situation in our hands while we still can. Let's just pray that there would be no Mutants above Level 2."

Running a quick check on the firearms that she took out from her space, she quickly passed it to them.

Seeing her taking a bunch of firearms out of nowhere, they were once again slacked jawed as they dazedly received the items.

They wanted to ask her where she got them and how she pulled them out of thin air but knowing the situation, they shut their mouth, questions later on.

"Alright, Feng ge and Diqiu ge, you go up to the right watch tower and kill the Mutants from up there. While Hou ge and Shui ge will go up the left tower, Jin and I will be guarding down here same with the others if the gates were ever destroyed. But I doubt it, since it's made of titanium alloy and the gate bar is at least an adult man's arm thick, its weight is super heavy. We needed at least a peak Phase 2 Mutant/ Evolutionary to just make a dent in it. Oh well, this is no time for explaining. Hurry up!"

Hua Meili quickly ordered them to go to their own designated positions not wasting any more time.

Everyone immediately execute the order and was already in their position. The very moment they held their guns up, they started firing immediately.

Mutant after Mutants kept on falling as they fire at them endlessly.

The team on the ground, more on Jin Hua, Pingjun Dao, Zhongcheng Qingren, and Du Hexi were stabbing the Mutants crashing down the gates.

They accurately hit the head to kill the Mutants in one hit to reserve energy and to also kill it quickly.

"Xiao Mei, is everything alright?"

Guo Zhongcheng was a little nervous looking at the thousands of Mutants coming their way. He could feel that it won't just be this mutant coming their way.

"I hope so. But this zombie wave does not look that simple at all. The Mutants quietly followed Jin and his group not attacking, like they were following a command from a.... leader. I just hope that it's not a Phase 3 Mutant since they are a little smarter than a Phase 2..." Hua Meili sighed.

It would really be bad if the Mutants really do have a leader, Mutants above Phase 3 would really be difficult to defeat at her current level.

Phase 3 above is really just too powerful, even for her.

"If a Phase 3 Mutant does appear, can we face it?" Guo Zhongcheng asked.

He knew that Hua Meili is strong but there must be a limit to it, worst case scenario, they would just flee and abandon their base.

"Let's wish that we don't!" Pingjun Dao said worriedly.

Hua Meili looked ahead of them, nervous. A foreboding feeling threatened her. She continued looking at her mini-map but she still could not see the leader of the Mutant sidekicks.

'If there is a chance that it was a Phase 3 Mutant, can I face it? I need to face it. It's not like they had the strength to face such an opponent. The only one who can face a Phase 3 Mutant with a slim chance of winning is me since I'm the only Phase 2 here. '

Hua Meili looks at the fight ongoing and the thousands of Mutants slowly decreasing until only a few were left until...

A loud roar that could shake almost both heaven and the earth sounded from a faraway place not far from their base.

Hearing the loud roar, Hua Meili quickly opened her mini map and not far from the base, a large wave of Mutants was slowly approaching.

A big red dot appeared on her mini-map, the big red dot was in the middle of all those Mutants, and in the red dot it says three.

'F*ck! It's a Phase 3 Mutant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

"Everyone! Be careful!" Hua Meili yelled to warn the others.

A large wave of Mutants came unto them and the pack leader was leading his pack, a 10-meter-tall gruesome Mutant could be seen leading the group.

Its disfigured and bloated appearance can make one's hair stand up, and its teeth were sharp and long. Its nails were as sharp as a knife and hard as steel.

Blood and flesh could be seen splashed all over its body, its blood-shut eyes were staring at the group with scary hungry eyes.

The Mutant looked at them like they were already dead.

"Sh*t, where are these Mutants coming from?!" Gao Hou cursed in the watch tower.

Since he was in a much better location to see the area, he could clearly see the sea of Mutants coming their way.

"What's that big Mutant mixed in with those tiny ones?"

Yu Feng curiously looked at the big hideous Mutant that was like a sore thumb among the Mutants.

"It looks uglier but bulkier than the others." Yu Diqiu said after he had taken a look at the Mutant.

"I-Is that a higher-level Mutant?!" Mingque Shui stuttered in surprise.

When he saw the bigger Mutant mixed in the crowd of lower leveled Mutants, he knew that it was way more powerful than the previous ones they had encountered so far.

He had never encountered such a high-level Mutant before but he knew just by looking at it that it is different than the rest of the weak Mutants that they had encountered before.

"Sh*t!!" Jin Hua cursed when he saw the Mutant from where he was.

He was getting frustrated seeing the high leveled Mutant.

"I'm going to faint..."

Pingjun Dao dramatically fanned himself while acting like he was about to faint but no one had the time to scold him for being a drama queen in this type of situation, well, all except Terry who is looking at him like he was some idiot.

"Xiao Mei it couldn't possibly be what I'm thinking right?" Guo Zhongcheng coyly asked praying that he was just mistaken.

It is not possible, right?

"Yes, it is!"

Even Hua Meili wanted it all to be just a dream but it's impossible.

What they are facing now is really the reality so she could only bravely answer Guo Zhongcheng with the truth.
